A great spot, and reasonable, that as already mentioned is a 5 minute, easy walk from the Zacariah vaporetto stop and San Marco. Although centrally located, the Locanda Querini was on a quiet 16th century palazzo and square. An atmospheric Venetian spot that retains its historic personality. The fairly small, family-owned b and b had large rooms, clean and comfortable. A complementary breakfast was substantial with fruit, cereals, meats, hard-boiled eggs - made fresh everyday - we saw the staff cooking. Outdoor seating is available for warm mornings.

The staff, headed by Patty, was attentive, friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for dining. Directions on navigating the myriad vaporetto options were clear and made travel in and out of Venice easy and stress free. They also have a great map for getting lost- a goal in Venice. It's clear that everyone associated with the b and b has their guests' comfort and enjoyment on their minds.
There is a staff member at the desk 24 hours, a nice amenity. Next trip to Venice, we'll be back here.

The Locanda Casa Querini is a short walk from the San Zaccaria vaporetto stop and within walking distance of San Marco Square. The owners and staff of this hotel are very friendly and assist you above and beyond the call of duty. Special mention to the morning chap who assisted us on Oct. 27th when the flooding started-he carried one of our bags for us through the water logged streets to the water-bus so we could leave to catch our cruise. Breakfast was included and was more than sufficient to see us through the day. The only disconcerting aspect to this room was the size of the shower which was very small. Generally we were very please and would highly recommend this hotel.

A wonderful place to stay. The location is close to San Marco, so if you get lost you can go to San Marco, and find your way back from there. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The quiet courtyard is a great way to escape the crowds to eat lunch or to nurse a cup of coffee. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the best part about staying at Locanda Casa Querini is the staff. They go the “extra mile” to make sure that you have everything that you need and that you enjoy your visit to Venice. It was the best breakfast of all of the B & B’s where we stayed. For a light and airy room, ask for one off the courtyard.

In quiet court yard close to San Marco and easy walk from San Zacariah vaporetto stop. Sylvia was friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. Breakfast tables outside in courtyard as well as inside. Very cozy, clean, comfortable and affordable. Would stay there again.
