“Mexican, a nice change from pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2013

They do pizza and mexican food.Chilli con carne was good with tortilla chips (rather than rice), and there was one large tortilla with the chicken tortilla. (We ordered another tortilla, but they were a little hard). They also had whole (small) chickens with chips. There is seating both inside and outside (in a courtyard and alongside a canal). There are 2 toilets here. The women's is also a disabled toilet. Good price for house wine, but expensive soft drinks. No cover charge nor service charge.

“Probably best to avoid 'Tourist Menu'”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

A great little eatery with lovely staff however tourist menu should be taken for what it is - which is a shame a pasta (primo) course was fantastic and very authentic. Just a pity this was followed by pre-prepared pork escalope. Otherwise unable to fault. Incidentally, wine included in this 12 euro menu was very good!

“Nice Local Eats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Great staff and good food. Prices are very reasonable. The food is not fine dining but it is good food if you are on a budget or just want a quick meal. The staff is really outstanding.

“like Nandos - only 3 times as good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

Although I am told all the food is good here - we had their speciality - chicken - it was excellent - a whole small roast chicken each with sauce and fries. This was our Christmas dinner in Venice - lovely. As I say - like Nandos - but 3 times as good.

“Nice Little Hidden Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2012

This place isn’t much from the outside. there is some Cannaregio canal seating. We were underwhelmed initially by the menu, but the selection of Panini’s and pizzas was very good. The waitress was wonderful and very patient with us. She spoke very little English but we communicated just fine. It is a bit out of the way but was easy to find and was very reasonably priced. It was not your typical Venetian touristy place. We would highly recommend it if you are looking for “different” in Venice, without the usual tourist food.
