What a perfect location in Venice! The staff were so friendly and helpful...nothing was a problem. The morning breakfasts were delicious with a large variety of food served. We would highly recommend this property and it will be where we will stay our next visit to this incredible city.

Room Tip: The standard room is quite small but a great value for the money. Our room was not on the canal but...

Very close to St.Marks square. The staff were very friendly and helpful the room was lovely could hear the sounds of singing from the balcony during the day and you wake up in the morning to the smell of fresh bread baking for an excellent breakfast.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the main hotel

We had a classic double room at this hotel which is so perfectly located near St. Mark's. We were greeted upon arrival by Davide at the front desk who provided directions and recommendations for restaurants and key sites within Venice. The St. Mark's vaporetto stop is very close to the hotel making it easy to access Violino D'Oro with a couple rolling bags. There are lots of restaurants and high end shops nearby and it's also not too far to walk to the Rialto Bridge area. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is adjacent to gondolas so we did have some noise into the later evening as our window had to remain open for fresh air (a/c had not yet been turned on).

Always teeming with life between the tourists and the gondoliers so it feels like a busy town square In the shoulder season when the AC/heat is off if you open the windows for air the sound will echo at night though it is mostly quiet after 9 or so. Breakfast is satisfying and rooms are charming.

Very close to St Mark's and the vaporetto stops. Nicely decorated room, good size, comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpful staff, good wifi, highly recommended, quiet, quirky elevator , surrounded by expensive shops

Have just returned from this great hotel my daughter my friend and i shared a triple room 305 it was spacious with tv and a large bathroom but the best bit was we had a roof terrace no view to speak of but after the sights we had seen all day wasnt a problem. The breakfast was really good bacon eggs mushrooms ham cheese and cakes and pastries galore plus fresh coffee/juices and even bucks fizz if you wanted. We did all the main touristy things St Marks Doges palace campanile tower. We bought water bus tickets for three days and travelled all over Murano Burano and the lido all worth a visit The pass cost 35 euros well worth it.We did take a gondola ride from the station right outside the hotel 80 euros we really enjoyed it.Not too much to do at night but we did find a hard rock cafe with good music and cocktails .Overall we had a brilliant time topped off by a fast transfer back to the airport in a water taxi which the hotel ordered for us cost 110 euros we all had a great time.

Venice is not cheap. When evaluating the value of everything it is relative to the cost of living at that location.
Comparing the room we were given I compared it to New York and the location and proximaty to Times Square against the one in Venice and its proximaty to St Marks Square
The Venice Hotel room size was comprable but Venice was better decorated and much cleaner. So on that basis the room was not bad value for money in a tourist city
Satff were friendly and knowledable and spoke good English
The breakfast was excellent including the champagne

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the canal and more spacious and cost more
