“The world's most uncomfortable beds.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013 via mobile

The location was very good, the staff very helpful, the breakfast more than decent BUT the beds were very hard, very lumpy and really felt like you were sleeping on rolled up springs. The staff said they would "tell her" whatever that meant. Also rooms were very small and you could hear the sound of people's feet walking by outside 2 floors down. For $100.00 per person per night, I expect a bit more.

We stayed at this hotel twice recently and we were so glad that we did, the service was great the people were so helpful and the position was close to everything and easy to get around. The rooms are small but wonderful they have character , slopping floors and all it just made our stay more enjoyable, it made you feel like you really were in Venice, our room had a view of the canals which was just lovely, would stay again anytime.

Excellent location right in between San Marco and the Rialto Bridge and not too many bridges. The single room was small but very clean (and everything worked) and had everything you needed, including excellent lighting (difficult to find in hotels nowadays). and free WiFi which was an important plus for me. The only thing it didn't have was a view of a canal! The staff were excellent and very helpful. No lift but the staff carried my cases up for me with no problem (I will definitely take less luggage on my next visit but the holiday had multi stops so unavoidable). The breakfast was continental style but adequate to start off the day. I booked this hotel after reading the reviews in Tripadvisor and I was not disappointed at all. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Venice.

The location can't be beat. The service provided is first class and the rooms are comfortable and clean. I recommend that hotel and its sister hotel based on value provided and quatlity of service. The hotel is in comfortable walking distance from P. San Marco, Addademai Bridge and Rialto Bridge.

This hotel is in a great location with easy walking to San Marco, Rialto Bridge and many more.
When chosing this hotel we wanted to stay in the old part of Venice and experience the heart of Venice. The room was very small and bathroom even smaller - a 1 person bathroom. There is no lift, so we were glad that we had repacked some clothes into our hand luggage before leaving our vehicle in the car park area and then catching the ferry to Rialto Bridge and then walking to the hotel. It would have been very difficult if you were trying to trolley a suitcase through all of this, let alone the cobblestone streets.
Breakfast was a continental style, sufficent to get us started for the day. This hotel was great value for money and recommend staying here

Central location within walking distance to many attractions. The shower in the bathroom was difficult to adjust, it was either all hot or all cold and sensitive to regulate. The air conditioning did not work well in the room. Breakfasts were good and the staff was friendly.

The hotel is about 3 minutes' walk from the Rialto vaporetto stop, but best print off the walking instructions. Also 5 minutes or so to San Marco in the other direction, so superbly central. No lift, and we were on the 3rd floor, but with just hand luggage (thank you Easyjet!) it wasn't a problem. The porter carried one of our bags up. Very comfortable room (didn't try out the TV, so can't comment), good bathroom/ shower, GREAT airconditioning. 24 hour attended reception.

Restaurant Omnibus seemed to be cheaper than nearer the Rialto bridge, 1 minute away.

Room Tip: Check if they can give you a room lower down if you don't want to climb the stairs
