“Average Three star hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed in this hotel for one night in April 2015 with three friends. Booked this hotel from Venice train st. We were told this is a 3 star hotel......but it does not look so.

Rooms are ok with respect to size, but nothing great to write about.

Breakfast is limited with options. Staff quite arrogant and rude.

Location is ok and it is near to place where you can get boats etc. But it is far away from main city attractions

We arrived by train to Venice (Santa Lucia station) and found out this hotel was only a 10 minute walk & very easy to find.
We were checked in immediately, however after struggling with luggage up many flights of stairs, we found the room only had a couple of skylights with a very small opening & the room was so very hot in under the roof space. We asked if we were able to be moved so they put us in the room behind the office on the ground floor which was super as it looked out at the canal. The room was lovely, although a few things in need of a little attention but we were very comfortable here for the 2 nights. It was certainly clean, had a lovely bath which was a bonus, good shower & a nice comfy bed. The breakfast was basic but plentiful & the staff friendly enough although not too chatty. This hotel was a fair walk to the Duomo, Palace, Bridge of sighs etc but closer to Rialto Bridge & all a very pleasant walk, everything easy to find as you just need to follow the crowds. We did notice that the streets were full of cigarette butts which is a shame as a few cigarette/rubbish bins would probably help keep the city cleaner. Also the dog droppings are very bad on the streets & obviously this needs attention also. Water Ferry to the airport was only a few steps away from the hotel & 15 Euro to the airport was good value taking you right to the airport main entrance.

Room Tip: Great having a room overlooking the canal as always plenty to watch.

Very easy to find and a fabulous location good to use as a base. Very clean but basic, don't book this Hotel based on breakfast as this was poor. Stayed as a family of four but this was a bit cramped in the room although maids did keep it clean and tidy.

The location of the hotel was just 1 km from the station but when I got down to station it was raining heavily. I came out and got confused as to how to reach hotel and instead took water taxi and hell guy charged 60 euros from me for a 5 minutes way. Well that was my mistake. Hotel is nice with very spacious rooms (in the near new block) excellent bathroom. The hotel is little far from all the happenings but has a water bus stop just outside the hotel in the same name of hotel.
Breakfast was just basic. Staff was freindly and speak english. I guess there can be better options then this hotel in Venice in area like San marco or Rialto but this also is ok,

Super rooms with amazing interiors and great service. We spent around 2 days here and it was worth a hotel to stay. They also serve breakfast in the morning which was really good and it was suited for people all around the globe.

We stayed at the Hotel Archi March 22, 23, 2015. We are two couples who travel together frequently.
1) Frederico at the front desk acted like our presence was a major inconvenience to him.
2) Asked about getting rooms in the new section. His attitude was 'you people are paupers on a packaged tour so you aren't entitled to the new section unless you want to pay more'.
3) Rooms were INCREDIBLY SMALL! There was no place to put the suitcase. You had to shove it under a desk and then haul it up onto the bed anytime you wanted to get anything out of it.
4) Breakfast was pretty much non-existent. One member of our group is gluten intolerant. There was nothing for her to eat unless she wanted mushy canned fruit with watery yogurt.
5) Only good thing to say is rooms were clean and towels were nice.
6) NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!

its got to be the easiest hotel to get to in all of venice, the airport vallporetto stops 50 yards from the hotel,at the airport it costs just 15e to get here. To get to all the other best areas of venice it's also very simple as most speak English.you are best to buy a 1 day ticket at 20e and that covers all water busses.th hotel is clean,a good 3 star rating ,breakfast could do with improvement.better quality breads etc .we were in the new part ,ok when in good weather as across a garden ,but fine,we found the staff helpful , all requests were granted etc
