“Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

The property was very convenient to the Pizzale Roma, the airport and cruise port saving much effort in dragging bags across Venice. Stephano was delightful and accommodating. The breakfast was very well presented and fresh with meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, boiled eggs and great coffee made fresh by the cup. Our suite was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The rooftop deck was beautiful and perfect for sunning and relaxing. The price of the room was very reasonable for Venice standards. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: There are only two suites but they are both excellent for the price.

The location of this B&B was important to us, as we needed to be near the car park on Piazzale Roma for day trips. With the nearby water taxi stop, we were able to get just about anywhere in Venice easily. Price was also a big factor for us and, at the time, they gave us a tremendous deal on a superior room that fronted the canal. View was amazing. Got to see how this city transports just about everything on those canals.

Check-in was smooth, very friendly, and we were shown how to get into the building after hours. A few steps from the lobby was the elevator that took us to our room. Classic decor on the bedroom with a Murano chandelier. Bathroom, however, had modern amenities. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty, although the selection is a bit smaller than other places. Good local restaurants within walking distance, away from tourist spots. We strongly recommend this B&B to everyone and we will definitely be staying here again.

Room Tip: Superior room with canal view was amazing. Book early!

After reading all previous reviews my husband & I felt confident in booking this hotel and what a brilliant choice we made. We had been on a 12 day cruise and decided to extend our stay in Venice, the day we docked we went to find the hotel, to inquire when we could check in on the following day, as we were staying over night on the ship. The welcome we received from Stefano was so welcoming and he was so helpful in recommending places to explore, we had booked a basic room and the icing on the cake was we were upgraded at no extra cost to a suite this just finished off the perfect holiday.
Breakfast next day was plentiful, with fresh fruit salad variety of yoghurts, meats cheeses and rolls and the coffee was hmmmmm lovely!!
Will we be staying here again absolutely thank you again to all the staff.

One is well rewarded for rejecting the temptation to stay close to the San Marco area and staying here, particularly if you are using train or bus to travel to Venice.
Literally minutes to reach here and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. Our third floor room was very well fitted out and there was direct access to the rooftop terrace. Breakfast was the usual, served in an elegant dining room.
With a reasonable sense of direction, most of the must-sees can be reached on foot but the vaporetto stop at the rail station is again only minutes away.
Overall, a place one can heartily recommend for anyone staying in Venice.

Having spent a silly amount of time trying to sort a hotel for our trip to Venice, I could not of done better then picking the Ca Dei Polo, the staff friendly from the very moment we arrived, the room was amazing it was a lovely size clean and tidy, the air conditioning was a blessing as soon as we walked in the room and for the following 2 days. Location was perfect for us it was only a 5 minute walk from the multi storey car park we parked at. Will use again if we return to Venice.

Room Tip: We asked for room overlooking canal and got it well worth asking for when booking the room

The offer of a nice and free breakfast, was the immediate and nicely unexpected answer of the owner of the hotel, when we arrived, soaked by the rain, long before normal check-in time in this charming hotel while we were waiting for our room to be prepared. Fortunately, there was just a minimal distance from the Piazzale Roma, where the buses stop. Our comfortable room, the excellent service and the chairs on the terras where we could rest for a while, away from the touristic crowd, brought us in the right atmosphere for visiting this beautiful city.
The presence of the central station near the grand canal in the neigbourhood of the hotel implicated also an easy transfert to all other islands and all the touristic hotspots of Venice.

Could not have been happier with my stay here. Arriving at the hotel is a treat with its beautifully understated architecture. The room was gorgeous, great view, terrific location right by the waterbus locations. Furthermore, the service was terrific. In particular Stephano could not have been more hospitable even helping us find another great place to stay when our stay here was finished. I would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here.
