Our first stay here but definitely not our last. Lovely room with a balcony overlooking the canal, easy access to the airport transfer, really friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast buffet. When we had a problem, the staff were nothing but helpful and supportive - which was really appreciated.

The location was a bonus as well, easy access to the water bus and to wander from, depending on how we felt, in a relaxed part of Venice.

Room Tip: Rooms with a balcony are worth the extra cost!

Very nice hotel that is close to cruise port. Wonderful accommodations. Situated along a quite canal just off the Grand. Would definitely stay for ease to and from pier again. Staff was very helpful as well.

It is very special to stay at a hotel which is a palazzo of a leading family of venice. the architecture and the classic interior design is breath taking, the modern furnishing mostly ok, the service is impeccable, in the rooms worth special mentioning: the beds are miraculously comfortable, the bath rooms huge.
arriving from the airport by boat, stepping off into the palace from gran canal .... this makes you feel like a prince.

This hotel was fantastic, off the beaten track on a canal, the only issue was it was being renovated outside, so a bit noisy the first morning! The hotel were delightful and moved us to a better room and on our return from a day out we found strawberries and prosecco chilling in our room. The great thing about it was the fact it was away from the main area so quiet, but also easy to get to the sites and some really nice local restaurants.

We stayed at this lovely hotel for our honeymoon. Rooms were nice and clean with a nice Venetian style. Great location as everything was just a short walk away. Hotel and rooms smelled wonderful. Bed was comfortable. I would say in the bathroom, the only downfall was the the was significantly higher than the floor making it difficult for someone of small stature, like myself, to step out without a fear of falling. Also, the shower door was only a half door, and it didn't really stop the water from getting all over the bathroom floor. The breakfast buffet was the best of all the hotels we stayed at while in Italy. I would also suggest adding more available outlets as we had to unplug lighting in order to plug in additional electronics.
My only real critique would be with the directions given by the staff. We asked how to get somewhere, they gave us a poor map which seems to be the map of the city, and said, "you just go this way and that way". Well, we did get lost missing one of our reservations, but we did find that the theme of asking anyone for directions while in Italy was just something you don't do as either they are poor or incorrect.
As we were honeymooners, they did surprise us with champagne and strawberries our first evening in the hotel which was above and beyond any of the other hotels we stayed at in Italy.
