“Don't miss late night”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 18, 2013

When you are out strolling after dinner, be sure to go back to the Rialto just before midnight. All (most) of the tourist are gone and you have the bridge and its sights all to yourself.

The lights off the water are amazing and the photo opportunities are incredible.

“The bridge of shops”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

The romantic picture of the bridge is sometimes sploit with advertising, but the bridge is now 100% shops of various types. ideal for present shopping, but always shop around. The bridge is surrounded by eating establishments, and the little cafe on the south side has the most delicious Tiramasu. Always worth a visit

“A remarkable sight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

What a wonderful sight to see when you first round the bend in the Grand Canal and see the Rialto Bridge in Venice. It is such a well known attraction but to actually see it for the first time is almost magical.
We were fortunate that our hotel was almost next to the Rialto Bridge and we never grew tired of seeing it out of our window.
It is another wonderful attraction in a marvellous city.

“Beautiful view of the canal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

This bridge is a must see. Not only is the bridge itself beautiful, but you get a wonderful view of the Grand Canal while on it. There are also many shops on the bridge. This is definitely something to see when in Venice.

“Classic "gotta see it" place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

The Rialto Bridge is one of those "postcard" places that you just have to see. The best place to see it and take a picture of it is from one of the water taxis as you pass under. The bridge crosses the Grand Canal and is located in a central part of Venice; an easy walk from virtually any hotel. It is clearly a tourist area with a multitude of shops on the bridge and restaurants on either side of the canal.

Be warned about the Gondoliers that are very aggressive in this location. BARGAIN - this IS a great location to ride from but it can be expensive if you don't turn down the first 2-3 offers for a ride,.
