“clock tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

The clock is stunning and is definitely worth a visit as it's in Saint Mark's square. It tooks decades to restore... as is the Italian style.

“Smooth ride to the top-great view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

Definitley a must-see. Worth the cost to get a beautiful view of all sides of venice: the cathedral, the main piazza, the aterways, and the locals walking the streets. Great fun if you don't mind heights.

“Beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Though I was only there and looked at it from the outside - I have herd it's worth booking a tour. Though even just hearing about some of the history and seeing it was enough. The clock itself is beautiful and very interesting to look at. Cool to watch the statues at the top move to strike the bell on the hour

“Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 7, 2014

It is so worth booking this tour. The guide was very good and the group was very small. The view isn't as good as the Campanille, however the different view is a bonus to the interesting history you will learn from the tour.

“Marvellous view at the end of the tour!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

I bought the tickets online and went to Museo Correr where the tour started. We walked with our guide to the Clock tower and started our tour. As you can read from the site when you book the tickets, it's not recommended for disables and people suffering from heart diseases, since it is a small space and you have to climb the stairs. Anyway, the guide has explained nicely the history of the clock and the structure, from the lowest level to the highest one. I found it very interesting and I really think is underrated. It's such an important feature of the square that it deserves a visit, also because of the fact that at the end you get to see the top of the building, which means an areal view of the whole square! Marvellous!
