“Great museum, great collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Great collection of art, the painting on the ceiling is breathing taking, there's also one whole room that the wall are all painted with columns that seems you look at it that the walls has a real columns too. The color of paint and fabric that was use for the walls are very interesting, clean and dramatic. And yes, the architectural structure of the palace is very Venetian influence . Truly one of the top attraction . I may say " a must see" place in Venice . Also try to end your day in this place and enjoy the breeze and calmness of the place not to mention the coffee shop downstairs , great coffee and pasta to enjoy , a perfect way to end the day, a Venice way.

“Not really a Museum of 17th Century Venice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

I wanted to visit Ca Rezzonico, because I had read that it was a museum of Venice in the 17th century, as it would have been fascinating to learn about the history of the city. However, other than the first floor of the palace, this was nowhere to be found.
The first floor was essentially a Venetian palace, which was very interesting and beautiful, but the second and third floors were merely an art gallery (which may have been the intention, but this is not what my guidebook said). There were some very beautiful Canaletto paintings and some other images of Venice, but it just went on a little too long.

“Visit the loggia for free”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

We didn't actually pay to go into this building, we just walked through the free part - the loggia - that leads to the canal. There are some great views across it that you don't normally see in photos and simply walking through this part gives you some idea about how the other half lived! There's an old original gondola under the arches on one side that is very interesting. Many people find Venice expensive, so this is something that doesn't cost unless you want to go inside.

“Ca'Rezzonico”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We had Musei civici pass. Ca' Rezzonico was included. Always wanted to see real venetian palazzo inside. Very well preserved, it was interesting. Great better to say grand inner courtyard, views on Grand Canal from the 3-rd floor windows are breathtaking. And no crowds, the palace just for ourselves. Beautiful tour.

“Nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

This was a good surprise in our trip. The palace is easy to get to (there is a vaporeto station nearby) and there are were no queues which is something good after visiting other attractions like San Marcos. The palace itself, its decorations and gardens are very nice, and the staff is quite friendly. The only little problem is that there are no benches in most of the rooms where you can sit and admire the ceilings (which have gorgeous paintings). Definitively worth the visit.
