We were looking for somewhere between our hotel & St Marks square to have a light lunch after walking around Venice with a guide for over 2 hours & Came upon Conca d'oro.
We had a delightful lunch with a good Caesar salad & a reasonable lasagne. Followed by ice cream, however it seems short sighted of not just this restaurant but many others too that they only had the boring 'usuals' vanilla ,chocolate, coffee & nut.
When Virtually next door you can dozens of different flavours from a gelatoria. We were just a bit lazy!
The hose wine is all €25 a bottle & the rose we had was quite good.
People on the next table had pizzas & I have to say they did look pretty good.
