“Cute bar”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

Cute little bar on Via Garibaldi with reasonably-priced drinks and plenty of outdoor seating.

There is also a small selection of cicheti to snack on while you drink

“So nice we went there twice in one day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

Just off the beaten track is the fabulous El Refolo, we found it by chance and are so pleased we did! The light snacks they sold were just lovely and tastefully presented. They sold a good selection of wine and the chance to try before you buy was a bonus!! El Refolo is a a great place to stop and take in the surroundings away from the crowds, and still get the feeling you are in the heart of venice. A must on the to do list x

“Simply the best (spritz)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Last year, I worked on a boat that often docked nearby and I would frequently stop by for a top-notch ristretto during the day or enjoy a few spritz in the evening time allowing -- the atmosphere was without exception superbe (and watching the world go by from Via Garibaldi is a treat).

The bar tenders were always super friendly, mixed the best spritz I've had in Italy (they use excellent prossecco), served a variety of mouth-watering meats, cheeses and breads.

Last week, I went there again a few times and was pleased that the quality was as good as ever. Highly recommended!

“Delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This is a lovely little "local" bar on the via Garibaldi. It seems to be open from morning till late. The bar itself is tiny (tables are all outside, and you perch on high bar stools under an umbrella) and the staff are very friendly. Have a venetian "spritz" (prosecco with either campari or the bright orange Aperol and soda, with a lovely big olive) and a big bowl of crisps for half the price of the tourist bars. It was our regular nightcap stop on the way home to the hotel!

“Value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2013

Called here for lunch and enjoyed spritz, a beer and cichetti for less than 10 Euros, sitting outside this small bar with friendly staff.
