Wonderful place to stay with large rooms (for Europe). Stayed with family of 4, two children (13B, 17G) for 2 nights. Each child had their own bed in the sitting room. Large separate bedroom was great. Bathroom modern with Jacuzzi tub/shower. Location was good on a quiet back canal 6 minute walk from the train station. Some might find it is a long way to St. Mark's, but this allows you to see the length of the grand canal. Faster by water Taxi directly from the hotel (but $60€).
Michele was great, knows where to eat & will make arrangements for you. Arriving to a bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch. Given the good price for the lodgings, I can see why they win awards from TripAdvisor.

What can I say, my daughters and I had a wonderful time at the Residence Palazzo Odoni! Michele, the owner was very gracious and greeted us as we arrived. The location was terrific and the Residence Palace was very peaceful, nicely decorated, and rooms were very large. It's nicely tucked away on a nice canal, not too busy, just right. Very close to all that you can see in beautiful Venicia, just a 5 minute walk to the Grand Canal. It was our favorite place to stay during our first Europe trip. It's an amazing place and will be returning one day....

Thank you Michele for a great stay! Ben

We were staying in Tuscany for two weeks and decided to go to Venice on the spur of the moment. When I started looking at the cost of hotels, especially for a family of four, I thought we would have to forget the whole thing. By chance I came across this hotel on bookings.com and found a family room for four that was reasonably priced, in a convenient location so booked it straight away. I then looked it up on trip advisor and realised it was the sort of place I should have been looking at from the start. The hotel is easy to find and within reasonable walking distance of most attractions in venice and very close to public transport which is great if you arrive by bus and also makes it easy to get to/from the airport or catch public transport to other locations. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and breakfast was very good. The history of the building is interesting and makes you feel a part of the landscape. As it is a family run business you notice that attention to detail. I hope we get the opportunity to go back again and would definitely recommend it.

Room Tip: If you want to stay in the older part of the building make sure you specify this in any request. Th...

If you want to experience Venice as a Venetian, then you need to stay at Residence Palazzo Odoni. It is conveniently located, but a bit away from the hordes of people on San Marco, etc. Set on a small canal, it's a short walk to a grocery, bakery, etc. and the walk is half of the fun. Isn’t that why we go to Venice in the 1st place?!? The apartment is nicely appointed and they provide daily maid service which is unusual for an apartment. For me, going out shopping for food every day and having a nice quiet peaceful breakfast in my own apartment in Venice is spectacular. We usually eat our big meal at a restaurant midday and if we're too tired just have a light meal back at the apartment in the evening. I believe that this maximizes your time to explore Venice by not wasting time sitting around in restaurants waiting to be served. The staff at Residence Palazzo Odoni couldn’t have been any more attentive or helpful. I will definitely stay there on my future visits to Venice which I hope will be many. Ciao…

Room Tip: They are all very nice

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the Accademia apartment with our two teenage granddaughters. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and well appointed. The situation could hardly be better - literally a stone's throw from the bustling Accademia and so very centrally located for most of what we wanted to see in Venice, and yet actually in a very quiet 'street'. The warmth of the welcome from Michele and Ema, and their helpful advice and support, made our holiday one to remember - the girls both now want to live in Venice!

We stayed here in April and had a wonderful experience. It's a good location--just a five minute walk from the plaza where the bus drops you off from the airport (a good value way to get into Venice). Basically it's a little apartment--two rooms (a bedroom with a good queen bed and a living room, that converts to two single beds at nice. the little kitchen and table allowed us to pick up groceries for a meal and also to simply bring back pastries from a great local shop for breakfast every day. Worked very well for our family and we definitely felt like locals for a few days. My only critiques would be that we virtually never saw the owner/manager -- or any other guests. So we did feel quite alone. Mostly fine, but you definitely won't (or we didn't) have the sense that you are in a luxury inn. One note for international travellers--the television is old and gets only local channels. International clientele might prefer a cable tv with at least a couple of non Italian options. Though that's a silly request in some ways--you are in Venice! Who needs tv! Wifi in the room worked really well, we were able to do a SKYPE video call with no problems. Really no complaints.

Room Tip: Our room did not have a canal view. Not sure if there are others that do, but inquire. We looked out...

We has the opportunity to stay at the Palazzo for two days on our recent trip to Venice. Michele, the owner was so friendly and helpful through our reservation process. He even emailed us prior to our arrival to endure that he would be present to welcome us upon arrival. The Palazzo itself is a beautiful old Venetian structure. It has a beautiful courtyard and the rooms were clean and modern. There is a kitchen in the apartment (rare in Venice) that allowed us the ability to prepare meals for ourselves, and there was plenty of room for my family of 5. The location is very near the train station, car rental, and car park. It was so quiet at night and an easy 10 minute walk to rialto (once you have the route down).

We loved our stay in this fine Palazzo! We will definitely be back.
