My kids and I took the Vaporetto up here seeking the best gelato in Venice. it was pretty good, but very light, almost too airy. I found the chocolate gelato at Venchi near s Marco to be the best of the 10 gelatos I tasted during 3 very hote days in Venice.
Small gelateria for take-away gelato. Try the more unusual flavors, like ginger. They are fabulous (beats Grom). Go to the canal nearby and eat it there on the steps to the water.

This is an absolute MUST for any foodie who loves GELATO! The owner who is personable and affable serves up the best all natural Gelato in Venice. He is fairly priced and the flavors are all to die for! This gelato is worth a trip into this neighborhood, even if your are not staying nearby.

FoodWe searched high and low for it, from the many reports we saw, there was no long queue mentioned by articles, the ice cream was edible, but was far from our expectations, you can get better ice cream from any other places. I would say its really a marketing ploy by the owner and his accomplices from the many good reviews you see on articles from other sites
That's all that needs to be said....doeant taste artificial like all the other places, pistachio us not bright green so that is usually a good indicator
