“Nice B & B close to the Station”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Very nice B & B about a 10 minutes walk from the train station. You have to go to another hotel to check in but we called them when we arrived and they gave us good directions to the hotel where we checked in and they took us to the venice resorts. The room was larger than expected and clean. It was a little noisy a night but quieted down before 10 so no worries. We would definitely return again.

“Good Accommodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

Stayed in Venice Resorts bed and breakfast for 4 nights on 9th September 2012. Accommodation was on second (TOP) floor, narrow stairs for carrying cases but ok. Very clean and comfortable and in a nice quiet area. The surrounding area is fine but about a 30 minute walk to St Marks Square. The breakfast was only adequate, tea or coffee, watered down orange juice a croissant and jam with two bread rolls, tea was half a pot of water, so you only got one cup and had to pay for another. Seems trivial, but most people like at least 2 cups in the morning. Venice is very expensive we thought, but if you search you can get slightly better value. We visited Lido de Jesolo on the mainland for an afternoon early evening. Much cheaper, great shopping for all and the sales were on, but a lovely resort to take children. Take the boat from St Marks to Port Sabbioni then a bus to Jesolo as soon as you get off the boat. 25 Euros per person return and well worth it if you want to get out of Venice for a while.

Room Tip: You can't book a particular room.

“Clean decent sized rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012 via mobile

Pros-
- on check in received exceptional customer service. Really impressed by the level of service we received
- rooms decent size with a/c and fridge plus modern bathroom
- room and bathroom very clean.
-good location

Cons-
- our room overlooked street. Really noisy due to restaraunts/cafe and passerbys. Hard not to be woken numerous times.
- by 2pm in the avo on our 2nd day our room was still not serviced
- "double bed" was booked, turned out to be two singles pushed together
- breakfast was average at best. We ended up going elsewhere and buying a decent meal.

Overall
- not a bad place but not the best. Would reccomend with the above caveat.

“Great Place for Family of 4”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

We stayed two nights before heading out on a cruise. If coming from the airport, taking the ATVO express shuttle bus to Piazzale Roma in lieu of a water taxi (vaporetto) which will get you the closest walking distance to check-in. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in a quadruple away from the crowds for a very competitve price! Had to carry our luggage up one flight of stairs to our room; keep in mind you have to schlep your luggage over bridges, too, so PACK AS LIGHTLY AS POSSIBLE!!

We loved having gelato & dinner in the neighborhood area for half the price as the vendors near San Marco Square. I truly believe our hotel location was a big influence on our family's fondness of Venice. We lost ourselves in all the alleyways to and from the hotel as we wandered in this glorious city and would dine at courtyard locations we just happened upon.

Thank you Venice Resorts for providing affordable accommodations, for your prompt response to my email correspondence, a decent breakfast (my girls LOVED the hot chocolate) and for allowing us to store our luggage on check-out day. Our family's experience was very positive!

“Great place to stay in Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

Stayed at this place for 5 nights in June 2012. You have to check in at a different hotel around the corner, which was fine and we were given a very warm welcome. We were then taken to our room which was a a building 5mins away. All the rooms were up at least 1 flight of stairs. The room was lovely, very clean, had fridge, AC, TV and ensuite bathroom. Shower was excellent. Breakfast was included and at a bakery 2mins away. Vouchers were left in the room for the breakfast the next day when the room was cleaned each day. Breakfast consisted of a croissant, 2 bread rolls with a selection of butter and jams with a glass of orange juice and a cup of coffee. Had wifi in the room for free but it was a bit temperamental and would only work for 5 mins at a time, but not a massive problem as obviously did not come to venice to use internet constantly! Location of the hotel is ideal, easy walk to all major sights and also very near bus and train station for getting vaporetto/trains/buses. Room was cleaned daily and towels and sheets changed every other day. Overall had a great stay in venice and was sad to leave.
