“Great pasta, good seafood, average dessert”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013 via mobile

We came here in June 2013. The place was hard to find but beautiful, with a great relaxed feeling. Service was good and cheerful. We ordered:
Squid ink pasta: Delicious!
Tuna in balsamic: pretty good, not great.
Bream in orange sauce: pretty good but very orangey
Creme brulee: good sauce but quite gelatinous creme brulee.

If you go here order the pasta, its home made and very good.
Maybe try a different dessert though, or grab some gelati on the way home.

“Worth the search”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

While traveling in Italy with my daughter, a friend of hers recommended Osteria Antico. She used her iPhone's GPS to help us locate places. We took the vaporetto from our hotel on the Grand Canel and we able to locate it after a short while. Our dinners were delicious and the staff was attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys delicious, fresh and well-prepared food.

“ended up going twice on a 6 night stay in Venice”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

we found the place on our first evening while trying to find another place referred by a friend, but kept getting lost and coming back to THIS place!!So we decided to give up on the other place and try this little Osteria. Well, we did not regret it!!! Food is delicious and service is attentive and friendly. We ended up going back on our last evening in Venice. Definitely a winner.

“Well worth looking for!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

When you visit Venice for the first time it's easy to get lost.
However, you will always find your way back.
This restaurant might not be easy to find but don't give up...
It's more then worth it when you find it.
Very fresh, very tasty and not realy that expensive.
Owners are very friendly!

“Thanks Larisa for the service!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Decided to dine in this hidden gem after reading all those reviews in tripadvisor. And I'm glad that we had our dinner there as the food were all superb! We took some time to search for the restaurant, you would miss it if you don't look into those small alleys. That was the only time we actually used our map for the whole day, in order to find this little wonderful restaurant. We were seated outside but it has a very cosy outdoor seating. We ordered the venetian appetizer with raw fish, and it was fresh and delicious! The taglioni was superb as well! And tagliolini with scallops and artichoke, The best I had in Italy. The owner, Larisa, was so thoughtful, she separated the tagliolini into 2 plates, so that both of us can had a taste of it. Too bad we missed the dessert as we were too full after all the delicacies.
