“Wow, just wow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2013

Went with my sister this december and just wow. We arrived and came in to the building. Andrea (the host) received us and gave us a tour of the place. We were taken to our room and it was really nice, with ample space and a laaaarge bathroom. After we settled in, Andrea prepared us some maps and made a reservation for us at La Zucca (greatly recommended).

The room has one of the best beds I have ever slept in.
Breakfast consisted on ham and cheeses, delicious croissants, coffee (Andrea prepares an awesome cappuccino) and tea, and an assortment of jelly, nutella, etc.

Andrea was so great, one really notices the dedication in running the B&B.
Will definetely return some day.

From the moment we were welcomed in to campiello zen we were blown away. It was extremely easy to find from Andreas directions and in a great location near grand canal and not far from the bus and train station.
It is also close to great restaurants.

Andrea made us feel so welcome he ran us through a map with everything we needed to know about Venice. We were in the ginko room and it was 5 star very clean spacious and comfy with a huge bathroom.
The breakfast were amazing we looked forward to breaky each morning.
All in all this has been the highlight of our honeymoon. The 5 star service provided by Andrea and Susanna will be hard to beat.

There is nothing I can add to the other rave reviews. They are all true. . .Everything, from the building itself to the location to the room and staff, were perfection. This was not my first trip to Venice and we were very happy with where we stayed before, but chose Campiello Zen based on reviews and our desire to stay in a diccerent part of Venice, and were not disappointed. One vlock from the vaporetto, one stop from the train station, and worlds from the crowds of tourists at St. Marks. Don't miss it.

My husband and I stayed Campiello Zen for 2 nights.
We loved this B&B. All decorations were very gorgeous, beautiful and neat.
I've never seen such tall curtains!!!
Our room had everything we needed. Huge windows, high pressure shower, and very very clean room.
A bed was very comfortable and we slept like a baby.
Andrea was a great host. He welcomed us and offered a drink immediately.
A cup of delicious cappuccino!!!
He was very helpful and we could get all of information from him.

The time we arrived at there, it was a bit rainy that made Venice town flooded.
It was unfortunate, but since Andrea let us use rubber boots and umbrella, we had no problem.

Their breakfast was wonderful too. Fresh fruit, cheese, deli meat, yogurt and of course fresh cappuccino!!! Everything was very tasty and no shortage.

We definitely recommend Campiello Zen to everybody.
If we go back to Venice, we'll be back to there too!

Thank you, Andrea.
Ciao

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this B&B in May. It was the first of 6 B&Bs we stayed at during our 3 week stay in northern Italy and it was the best overall of any of the other B&Bs - and they were all good. What set Campiello Zen apart was the absolute enthusiasm that Andrea had for Venice and it's attractions and he instilled that desire in his guests. Sure the rest of the B&B was top flight - breakfast, bedding, cleanliness, and charm; but that aspect made Campiello Zen an exceptional B&B. The maps and directions he provided us of Venice were clear and complete - necessary in getting anywhere in this amazing city. The restaurants he suggested for dinner were very good, local ( non-touristy), and reasonably priced. He even gave us two restaurants in Rome for us to try while we visited that city later in our trip! Needless to say both of those were the best during that visit too.

Andrea made you feel comfortable in staying at his B&B and accomplished at what you have expierienced while there. We personally wish Andrea, Susanna and the growing family all the best!

Our stay for 3 nights at the Campiello Zen in Venice was wonderful. From the actual place itself to the hospitality of Andrea and staff, I could not have asked for more. The rooms are air conditioned, modern, and so CLEAN. I have very high standards of cleanliness and this b&b met every requirement from the bed linens to the squeaky clean shower floors.Andrea is there to welcome you on your arrival and offers fabulous advice on what to see, how to get to places, and makes a great cappuccino. With the very reasonable price we paid per night, breakfast was both free and delicious. There are also cookies and fruit left out all day for those who might need a snack midday. Breakfast included pastries, fresh fruit, juices, cereal, and cappuccinos or expressos made by Andrea himself. I felt so relieved to have a good morning meal and not worry about where I should get my breakfast or how much it would cost. This charming bed and breakfast caters towards the guest, and you can tell that Andrea takes great pride in taking care of his place and his guests. The room we stayed in had a big bed, a modern shower, and was spotless. The AC was strong when you keep the bathroom door shut, a tip for those of you that like a cold room.

I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking to stay near San Marco. It is both a quiet safe haven hidden from the the loud touristy streets of Venice, and is run by excellent management that really cares about their guests and establishment. I would definitely stay here again if and when I return. Great for couples, adults, and families with kids. It is easy to get to from the airport via water bus and you get dropped off right at the stop next to the B&B

Most reviews on TA are long and absolutely 100% correct. Campiello Zen is a haven in a very busy city and Andrea & Susanna could not be more helpful, even Pila the dog is welcoming.
Very easy to find with all the directions, Ginko room was faultless, breakfast was delicious and the help from Andreas each morning with planning our day invaluable, also helping with booking restaurants and recommending their favourites places to eat at. If you are going to Venice you need to stay here, book early and enjoy !! We hope one day to return to Venice and we would not stay anywhere else......
