A quiet little corner of Venice (which sounds like an oxymoron) shelters this homely, family-run little restaurant. My wife and I were tempted to spend out at Riviera, but then walked around the corner to this place that we had also found on tripadvisor and went for it. The wine was very tasty (little prosecco followed by something beginning with R. that was lovely and full-bodied). The pasta was lovely and the mains were simple but so tasty and really nice cuts of meat (had the beef taglionato and duck with red onion jam). Truly wonderful food and very warm service without you feeling too hassled. Still quite pricey for what it is, but that's Venice for you and for Venice I think it is reasonable. Reliably good food at prices that don't give you a coronary.
