It may be the oldest restaurant in Venice, but that does not improve the taste of the food. We travel with our two year old son, and this may colour our opinion, because they were very kind to Sammy. We just were disappointed with the quality of the food, which seemed to be in inverse proportion to the price. Sea food pasa and some sardines, simple enough, but so easy to spoil.
Maybe it was a slow night and the flooding had dulled their taste buds, but it was bland and rather ordinary, or maybe we were just over optimistic.
