“Awesome Hotel, Great Staff !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW

Ok, first the not so good thing about hotel, it is difficult to find though it is very near to station but it's fact it is nothing easy for a tourist to find in Venice. Don't get scared that's how that city is. Wi-fi was available on first floor only.

Well about staff , I could spend hours and hours praising them, specially Diana , she is so helping to everyone. She coordinated our gondola ride, next day pick up. As next day pick up was at 6 she arranged breakfast to be delivered at 5 in morning. Cannot ask for more. Rating is not allowed 4.5 else it above 4 certainly. We got room # 202, which was a suite, awesome it was.

Room Tip: 202, without any doubt.

You're on holiday: you want quality, comfort, a quiet location, incredibly helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast. Stay at Domina Home ca Zusto! A small, boutique style hotel that's not in your face. We always looked forward to returning to the hotel after a day's sightseeing. The concierge was charming and helpful, recommending local restaurants and booking our tickets for a live jazz evening, quality fish restaurant (Poste Vecie) and a Vivaldi concert. Couldn't ask for more!

Room Tip: Choose Superior Double for a huge 6 foot wide bed.

From the moment we entered Ca' Zusto it was love at first sight. Great location steps from the Grand Canal, lovingly restored boutique hotel with a blend of the old architecture and modern décor. We were greeted by Nicolo, who could not have been more helpful and charming. He resolved a little problem with elan that set the tone for our entire stay. A charming hotel with a special staff. I will recommend this hotel highly.

Stayed here for a week while visiting Venice solo. Beautifully updated old palazzo in a quiet area away from the main tourist areas yet close enough to walk everywhere. Small but well appointed room and friendly, welcoming staff. Good breakfast to set you up for a day exploring Venice. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone.

The location was really nice.
It wasn't that far from S Lucia station and wasn't that hard to find.
If you can read a map, you can find it.
The service was good and room was clean.
The staffs were very nice and kind.
And resonable price!!

Room Tip: Only 1st floor can access to free wifi.

Room is large, clean and tidy.
The hotel condition is good when compare to others hotel because I found there are many old hotel in Venice.
The breakfast is good and many choice.
However, it's not too close to the train station.
Gerenally, it is a good stay here

I stayed at Domina Home Ca' Zusto for four nights in November. Before my arrival I emailed the hotel for directions on how to get there from the Santa Lucia Station. To my delightful surprise, I received a speedy response from Diana Cenedese of the Front Desk Office with detailed directions on getting to my destination.

The hotel is conveniently located near Santa Lucia, approximately a six minute walk from the station. As other reviewers have noted and is evident in pictures, Domina Home Ca'Zusto looks modest on the outside but the interior is indeed gorgeous in an understated modern way--the property is quaint and romantic, homey, charming, stylish, and incredibly modern all at the same time. One immediately noticeable quality--every corner of the hotel is spotless and pristine. It's clear that hotel upkeep is a top priority for management.

My room was small, but finely decorated and, once again, impeccably clean throughout--the entire room looked brand new including the sumptuous bed, wallpaper, closet, etc. Located on the first floor my room came with a surprising perk: my very own entrance into a the large private patio/piazza space that had stairs leading up to the communal wifi/dining area (curiously, no wifi in the individual rooms which can be a negative for some who need it). This alone made my stay so much more luxurious.

Continental breakfast was delicious and the entire staff very friendly, accommodating (they supplied me with a sewing kit and electronic converter when needed), and willingly helpful. I was greeted with a warm smile every time I left and entered the property.

Being located near the Santa Lucia Station means that the hotel is somewhat distant (15-20 minute walk) from the touristy attractions like San Marco Square, etc. Traveling during the day from the hotel to the city attractions isn't a problem, but, traveling at night can be outright confusing considering the city's lack of lights, signs, and maze-like streets. A few times I got lost finding my way back. Definitely conserve battery on your cellphone during the day so you can GPS your way back to the hotel in the evening should you stay out that late.

All in all, I would not hesitate staying at this property again. Domina Ca' Zusto is without a doubt deserving of all the praise and more that it has received. Thank you!

Room Tip: Request the room on the first floor with the private entrance to the piazza if you want the added s...
