“Charming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014

Boutique hotel with world class charm. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. They had a nice continental breakfast. Very easy to get to other places from this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Venice was like walking back in time, everything was perfectly preserved. I would've posted pics but husband seemed to be in all of them!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

I stayed here in February 2013 when I was in Italy for business. The hotel was recommended by some of the Italians that I was working with and was close to the train station.

Positives
• For Venice, the hotel was very reasonably priced
• There was really good welcome to the hotel. The staff were very helpful in recommending places to eat, drink and visit
• The hotel was reasonably new and was well maintained
• The hotel is close to the train station

Negatives
• There was no wi-fi available in the rooms, It was available in the breakfast/coffee area
• The location is not the best and it is a bit away from the main attractions. It was very difficult to find!
• The room that I had was very small
• The breakfast options were very limited.

Would I stay here again?
Probably not, I would pay extra and stay somewhere closer to the action

Dear Guest,
we thank you for your review. This is very important for us because show us the action to do to improve our job.
But let me say that maybe you had a single room that's why you say it's a little bit small... this just because it was a single room.
As you read on all the web site , we have wi-fi only in lobby area , but in the rooms , if you have a laptop we can give you a cable to connect to internet.
Anyway in this period we are working to enlarge the wi-fi in all the rooms.
You wrote that was positive our location near train station but in the negative we are far from Venice attractive. Walking we are 10 minutes from Rialto and 20 minutes from San MArco square, but our quiet position is exactly what our guests love. Far from croud and noise .
We all thank you that you spent your time with us and we hope that in the future you still will choose to came at Domina Home Cà Zusto.
We are sure that you will be satisfied.
Best regards
M. Dipino

Stayed here for 1 night and was pleased with the service offered Located out of the tourist trap we had a room on the 1st floor. Kind of small but with all we needed. Nice front desk service and good breakfast. Would certainly come back.

We had an amazing stay here. The staff emailed me directions which really helped as we arrived in the dark and thick fog! Super location, quiet and authentic = true Venice. The staff were lovely and recommended local restaurants which were perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and Venice - it blew my socks off......

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English.

The room was very spacious (which is a plus in Italy) with views over the rooftops.

Location: It is quite close to the train station and cruise ship terminal which is why we picked it. It does not overlook the canal but the upside is it is quiet and good value for money. We did get lost a few times on our way back from the Rialto bridge.

There was a good selection of food at the buffet.

You could only use wifi on the breakfast lounge floor which was a little inconvenient.

Overall, a good value hotel with friendly helpful staff and a spacious comfortable room. Would recommend (if you don't want a canal view hotel).

We agree strongly with all the previous reviews. Just want to emphasize that the hotel staff members are extremely knowledge and helpful. My husband got sick but Mr. Manager went out his way to help us during our stay. He should get the top J.D. Power Customer Satisfaction Award. We picked this hotel intentionally since we want to explore Venice on foot from one end to the other. Glad we did. There are signs on the walls guided us from the hotel to St. Mark’s Square and back. It was a fascinating experience.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013 via mobile

Spent 3 nights at this hotel in November 2013

The hotel is stylish, quiet, provides free wifi and offers an excellent breakfast. We have found it an ideal base to discover venice both on foot and by boat

Staff speak perfect English which makes arrival easier

We walked from the station upon arrival in venice took 5 to 10 minutes (and this was in the dark) by Venetian standards not too difficult to find you just have to be confident along the narrow alleyways

Hotel is only 2 minutes walk from the riva di biasio riverboat stop

As others have said there is no big hotel sign outside the building, however there are a couple of big planters outside the front door.

Highly recommended and we would use this hotel again
