“Very spartan accommodations”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2011

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is hard to find and the area where it's located doesn't really have much to offer. I got lost on my way here and called the hotel--which didn't really help because they don't speak English that well (couldn't blame them though, but this might be of concern if you don't speak any Italian).

It's walking distance to the city centre (around 20 minutes). I stayed in a private room with a shared bathroom. It was ok for the price I paid--definitely wouldn't have paid any more than 30 euros to stay here. One irritating thing though was that the AC had to be turned on from the reception area--so you have to call them to turn it on and wait in the blistering heat until the room cools.

The breakfast was very basic--toast, jam, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, cereal--but enough to keep you going for the day. The hotel is very close to the train station which is convenient.

All in all my stay here was OK--not good, not bad--just OK. I probably would try to stay at a B&B next time that's in a livelier area.

I've been several times, on business and for a stop over (is close to the railway station and easy to get to Venice as well as the centre of Padova). But I also like the people who work there, especially Caterine who is always very helpful and welcoming.

When my students arrived, they were ready and waiting for us. The manager, Catrina, is really great - thinking ahead and putting me in a room that basically my students had to pass by in order to get outside.

She was super helpful in directing us to attractions in Padua, and MOST helpful in finding a mini-bus to take us to the airport. I couldn't have done that without her, as the mini-bus staff did not speak English. She took time out of her day to help us out. That's the mark of good service.

one more cheap hotel that allowed me to stay in town for an acceptable price... it looks fine, even if very tiny. You can walk to the center in 10 min. Unfortunately there are 3 major problems:
1) beds a uncomfortable;
2) air-conditioning is controlled by the reception (also in the middle of the night you can phone for it!) and take time to switch on and off (too long when you just want to sleep and it is noisy like hell!);
3) I found a dead Blattella germanica on my laptop... so it could have been full while I was asleep... ghhhhhhhh : (

The location is within walking distance of most of the sites. It's definitely not in the center. Parking was free and easy. Breakfast was provided. It was fine. This is a basic, average hotel. But the price for a double room was great. We only stayed one night.

I have chosen this place attracted by some of the reviews. Than I have had a chance to see how reviews can be easily twisted by bogus entries. Average of reviews is almost 4 with some entries quite enthusiastic. In real life only a deranged person would give it more than 1 star.

Also, the 3* hotel rating is twisted. This place is not a 3* but deserves max. 1*. It rather belongs to a hostel category and quite a shubby one. Better avoid. No value for money. You leave the place feeling cheated and deliberately misleaded.

This is a very small hotel in ten minutes from the railway station. Room was very strange-room is big enough and spacious, with balcony and a bathroom so small that together they do not really fit. Very closely. However, the price is very nice and the hotel can easily reach all the beautiful places of Padua. Staff kindly explain how to do it faster, but also show how to pass this way through the beautiful park. Breakfast is very modest, not included. Internet access is available only in the cafe of the hotel and charges are applicable.
