“Good Family Resort”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013 via mobile

We spent one week at this resort in February . My wife, myself and two kids, 6 and 8 yrs old. I was very surprised to find out than the stay was by far better than expected. The resort itself is well kept with, at least ours, spacious rooms. Food was very varied and good from breakfast to dinner. Lunch at the Restaurant on the ski slopes was a nice break. The kids loved it, they had a ski guide from 8,30 am to 4 pm and after that plenty of activities...we will visit more Club Meds.

We felt very welcomed at arrival. The food was out of this world and our rooms were very neat and cleaned. The ski instructors were extremely friendly and professional. The GO's friendliness made the stay that much more pleasant!! There is an overall social and warm atmosphere. It was our second time at Cervinia and we will definitelybe back.

Room Tip: In the main building the view is better.

Tried Club Med for the first time and we were completely blown away! It may have been just this club med but Cervinia has sold us and we will only holiday with club med in the future! We went the second week in December 2013 and we were very lucky with the weather, sunny skies throughout our stay. Our son had a blast with the mini club, so much so that he cried when it was time to leave. The organisation and enthusiasm of each and every one of the staff was world class - we never once felt neglected. Anything and everything we asked for was orgainsed instantly. The bar was brilliant and the barmen are incredible. The food, oh the food, was five star and plentiful. To top it all off the photography services were out of this world. By the end of the holiday we had over 90 perfect photos of the 3 of us. The photos are pricey for South Africans but worth every cent spent. We ended up taking 30 prints home, which included the disc. From action shots to professional portrait photos of you and your children. The most difficult part of the whole trip was deciding which photos to take. All three of the photographers were professional and incredibly friendly. Those photos will always remind us of the most perfect family holiday!! Thank you to everyone at club med, everyone at mini club and all the photographers! You guys are amazing!!!

Room Tip: Club rooms for families, room 3410 - it has a balcony. For couples or singles, room 3424 - also a ba...

I just came back from a one week ski vacation with my two teenage kids. I have been to many clubmed resorts before, and this was by far the worst clubmed experience we had. The club boasts 4 pitchforks (clubmed stars), with no justification. The club's facilities are run-down, most rooms require very long walks in unpleasant underground walkways (smelling like dungeons), and getting to and from the ski lifts require shuttle rides, which are packed during rush hour (mornings and lunch). The club has a restaurant in the mountain, which is an insult - an overcrowded basement in Plan Maison ski lift building.
I had the unfortunate experience of being in a Kosher week, in which the food was terrible, but even the non-Kosher mountain restaurant was a digrace.
Stay away. This club is overdue for a complete overhaul, and management change.

My wife and I had an awesome week at Club Med Cervinia. Weather was unreal with plenty of snow on sunny slopes. Staff at hotel were great and always friendly. Special mention to Kali, from Ski Services, who was plenty of fun and exceptionally friendly to all. The evening entertainment under guidance of Toni was always fun.
The food was amazing and the all inclusive really means all inclusive as you really do not need to take your wallet out all week other than the 1,60 euro per day tourist tax.
Plenty of transfers from hotel to slopes, at least one every 5 min and trip is only about one minute.
We had a great time and will definitely return with our kids in the future.

We stayed here as a family group, consisting of 4 adults and 6 children aged between 9 and 16 for the Easter break 2013. It was our first time to a Club Med hotel, we normally book chalet styled holidays. We were so impressed with everything, size of rooms, food and the ski lessons for our children where first class. I think the children got more from the holiday them the adults, we didn't see much of them all week as they all quickly made friends. It was wonderful not have to go to the bar without any money, the staff (Go's) worked hard and most spoke good English.

It was our Travel agent Skiline.co.uk that recommended we try Club Med, there managed to secure better flight times and price than we could get by booking directly. I think if you have normally stayed in a catered chalet, Club Med is a big upgrade and should be considered for a good ski hopliday.

Room Tip: Our room was designed for guest with a disability and the room was huge! It was a corner room toward...

Late review due to not being on trip advisor before. Travelled January 2010. A group of 8, celebrating a 40th birthday. A big hotel. Loved the swimming pool and sauna areas.
Rooms massive, bedroom, living room, shower room and bathroom.
Buffet restaurant with a good selection for all tastes.
Entertainment was hilarious at times as the entertainment team really did get stuck in and got the holiday makers involved. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Ski tuition in the all inclusive was very handy, the instructors lots of fun, you were able to ski with your level and get taken to the Swiss boarders and over with confidence, stopping for lunch.
They had an all inc restaurant up the mountain so you did not have to come back down to eat at lunch time. Very strong cocktails. Endless eating, breakfast, lunch in the mountains, afternoon tea and cake at the hotel, pre dinner canapés and sandwiches, then dinner, so if you like your food this all inc hotel is worth staying at.
The only problem was a few days into our holiday our friend, who was staying in a suite on her own, got burgled, as did several rooms on that floor. The safe was ripped from the wall and taken. The police later found several safes in an unoccupied room on the same floor, opened and some contents stolen, cash, jewellery etc. luckily passports were left. No rooms showed forced entry so we all thought it must be an inside job as keys were used to access the rooms. The police did take it seriously and I accompanied my friend to the police station the next evening to make a statement, as did others. It apparently aired on the local news too. I am sure this was not a frequent occurrence but just beware and don't take any valuable items on holiday with you.
With exception to this incident, overall this is a great social hotel, even if it's only two of you going, the group ski lessons included are a great way to interact.
Oh and the ski slopes were varied for all levels, good snow, not too much ice. Would definitely go again

Room Tip: We just booked a double room and got so much more
