“Spotless rooms and service in ideal location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Ideally located hotel in central Turin and very close to public transport. Spacious, nice, modern and clean room. Good service all around. Definitely one of the best hotels in Turin, if not the best. We haven't tried the spa, but it looked great. If you want some luxury for your stay in Turin, this is the hotel to book.

The hotel is well placed as a base to tour Turin. The rooms are generous and the bathroom is also large with both shower and bath. The hotel has been renovated in an art deco style and well maintained. The staff were very helpful and courteous. If arriving from the Turin Airport take the bus, remember to get a ticket from the Tabac in the terminal before boarding the bus. While this is a scheduled bus service it termiinates at the Turino Porto Nuovo railway station. The hotel is in walking distance from the station along the Via Roma. Many of Turin attractions are also within walking distance. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. There are a number of restaurants and Trattoria near by. The hotel does charge for Wi-Fi service.

Its remiss of me for not writing my review sooner but having just returned from Turin and having had a dreadful experience at another so called 5 star hotel, I felt I must congratulate the Piemonte Hotel on being the ONLY true 5 star hotel in Turin. It is 12 months since I stayed there but I can vouch for the fact that this hotel ticks the box when it comes to location, grandeur and service. Whether on business or pleasure the Piemonte is the best. It is also located right in the heart of the city, which makes it the perfect location for shopping and sightseeing.
Unfortunately on this latest trip to Turin my business colleagues booked me in a different hotel but on my next visit I will be making my own arrangements and there will only be one hotel on my list.

Although we only stayed at the Principi for one night recently, two things really impressed.
One is the spa - a really good, large pool with several options for having fast flowing water massage away the aches and pains.
The other was the staff. They were all cheerful, enthusiastic and helpful. In particular, the front desk and concierge team couldn't have been more helpful to us with storing some luggage for the week after our stay (we were going on a tour that couldn't take all the bags we'd had to bring for our longer holiday in Italy). When we returned we had a few hours before our transport, so the Principi staff looked after our bags while we looked around Turin a bit more. This was despite the fact that we were not staying another night. I don't believe they did this with an eye to us being returing clients - it just seemed like they were friendly, helfpul and decent people. Which of course makes it all the more likely that should we return to Turin we will stay there again. In any case, for anyone else visiting Turin, I highly recommend the Principi.

In the heart of Turin, footsteps from all main
attractions , is this beautiful art deco palace.
Room was big with outstanding views,
and in an art deco style like the rest of the hotel.
The spa is modern and attractive.
Breakfast is very rich.
On the whole , though the hotel belongs to
an hotel chain , the feel is of hospitality in
contrast to management. We enjoyed
very much our stay there.

Loved this hotel - one of the top three I have ever stayed in. We had a beautiful suite with a view over the roofs and on to the hills surrounding the city. The spa and pool are first-class and a great way to work out the kinks from so much travel. Our room was so beautiful that we actually considered just staying in for the evening and dining on room service. Bathroom was as big as a New York City apartment. Location is convenient to all sights and many fine restaurants.

Room Tip: ask for a room on the rear of the hotel and above the roof-line of the surrounding buldings (for the...

We stayed here, interrupting a skiing holiday, to celebrate my wife's birthday. A wonderful hotel with excellent facilities. The room, more like a mini suite, was spacious, modern and well appointed with a very, very comfortable bed and a super bathroom containing a supersize bath. The view from our room over the rooftops of the city with the Alps in the distance was interesting and breathtaking.
This hotel is very well positioned to walk anywhere and explore the wonderful city of Turin and even the personal buffoonery that left me totally confused by the municipal parking facility (the hotel does have a car park and if they offer to park your car for you; accept the offer) provided it's own brand of entertainment.
The staff here were all wonderfully helpful and I could quite easily have sat all day enjoying the breakfast buffet we had on the Sunday morning, alas the generosity of the hotel did not stretch quite that far.
All in all we had a great time in a fabulous hotel that did offer excellent value for money. Will definitely return.
