“Nice place and good services”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2011

Very elegant place, good service, nice welcome. Services are very good, a little bit poor in personnel during the weekend.
The room was very nice and of good quality

A special thanks to Salvatore the FOM at the hotel for making things happen for me. Thank you again for making the difference. It goes a long way.
Great service from Carmen and Diego at night as well.

The hotel is in a good spot in Turin, fairly central and near some of the high end designer shops. First impressions are good, there is a nice looking bar/terrace outside and a clean, well presented reception area. According to the locals this is the best hotel in Turin...

We checked in with a large party of 10 guests, which seemed to confuse the reception staff. However, they were friendly and courteous despite the confusion.

Rooms were of a high standard - I stayed in a king room with adjoining sitting room, walk in closet and large bathroom. The rooms were spotless and had a fairly decent view over the city. No tea and coffee facilities available but there was a well stocked mini bar (at extortionate rates). Some of my colleagues had free water in their rooms. Comfy bed and excellent maid service, coming to prepare the room for night time and even leaving a little chocolate on your pillow. In terms of sleep, it is extremely difficult to get any sleep as 1, the air con didn't work (anywhere) and 2, the street outside is very noisy for most of the night.

Breakfast was extremely disappointing. The staff were negligent, bordering on rude and we had to ask for cutlery, coffee, juice etc as it was not readily available. The buffet was typical to a 3* hotel, not a 5* hotel and when we complained, we were told they were short staffed. To compensate the hotel left a bottle of wine in our room and then much to our amazement they tried to charge us a corkage charge for drinking it in their hotel!

We did not eat in the hotel restaurant (nor would I) and I did not use the leisure facilities but my colleauges assured me that they were extremely basic.

All in all, this was a reasonable hotel but certainly not what I would expect from a luxury hotel

We were a little skeptical about the hotel after reading some of the reviews, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is in a prime location, has beautiful rooms with great amenities and a very friendly, warm, and helpful staff – especially reception and the bellmen.

Our only issues with the hotel ---- both of which were remedied with out too much of a hassle --- were being charged for internet which was supposed to be included in our rate and the charge for parking was 3 Euros a night more than posted on their website. Both were quickly corrected. I must add, however, that the charge for parking is ridiculously high at between 33 and 36 Euros a night depending on the size of your car.

Breakfast was not spectacular, but was certainly adequate. The rooms, staff and location are what make this hotel the right choice in Torino.

We passed through Torino for 2 nights on our way to Paris and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel.

For a businessperson this hotel would be great as most rooms are suites which provides a separate room to the bedroom.

The price we got was extremely economical compared to what we had come from in Florence and Rome for a 5 star hotel.

The spa and pool are excellent with a very large indoor spa-style pool to realx one's weary body. My wife also had a massage and said it was sensational. It too was very reasonably priced.

The breakfast was good, the restaurant was also very good with good food options and attentive staff. Thanks particularly to Grazia (apologies if I've spelt your name incorrectly). Also, Flavio on the bar was super and especially attentive and helpful with local tips.

One area the hotel could look at is seeing whether they could improve the speed of the Wifi service, we found it a little slow.

Overall a thoroughly pleasing stay and would recommend it to everyone who passe through Torino, whether for business or leisure.

We stayed for four nights at this hotel, and couldn't fault the hotel at all. It's location is ideal for visiting the museums and shops. Attention to detail in the hotel is first class and the staff were so friendly and eager to please. The food is also excellent with a good choice for breakfast, and I would also recommend the buffet lunch. We stayed in one of the junior suites, which had plentry of room and a bathroom to die for! and being on the fourth floor, it had a lovely view overlooking Turin with the mountains in the background. I would certainly have no misgivings in staying at ths hotel again, and would recommend anyone to stay there.

A very nice hotel in the middle of the city. Easy acces by car,
nice room with all confort you may want. Bathroom is great.
Front office desk is a bit dated but the best way to feel at home
is to meet Davide the barkeeper.
He knows the city and the high quality and not over priced drinks.
His snacks are wonderfull. The Hotel is the right combination
of quality,service, confort and location.
