Thank God for the healing properties of Italian food- I need it every time I travel from LA to Europe, especially in the beginning.
This little restaurant workrd wonders (was recommended by the hotel). It is located in the center of the city in a quiet , beautiful little street.
It is fairly new, very clean, modern design, casual. We sat outside and were welcomed with a carafe of complimentary local wine.
I had absolutely heavenly homemade ravioli with ricotta and cherry tomatoes (NO tomato sauce!) and my husband decided to experiment a little and ordered Battuta di Fassone al Coltello, which is raw ground beef (special piedmontese beef), garnished with horseradish, honey, anchovi- sounds like a weired combo, but tasted great, according to my husband's comment.
The service was so good and the waiter didn't mind to put up with my poor Italian, which made it even more exciting for me. Prices were very reasonable.
