“Great!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

The room was brand-new, large and very nice. Staff nice and helpful. Great value for money!
Good position.
The bed was not the top as it was a double-sized bed composed by two single beds with wheels that kept rolling apart during night...a bit annoying :)

Just one bad thing : the room wasn't the same than the picture on hotels.com. We booked à junior suite but I think we had à simple room at the same price. But good service, very clean, very closed to the city center, you don't need the car, not expensive. Spacious room for 4.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the Porta Susa train station, and is within easy walking distance or a short tram ride, to the downtown attractions. The room was nicely appointed with a frig, overlooked a courtyard, and had lots of closet space. The bathroom facilities were super clean... with a great shower. We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.

I have been to this hotel many times for different reasons, wine tastings etc. I slept in one of the new rooms and it was very very nice. A good fresh change from the older ones and I found a kettle jug with free tea and instant coffee! There was a wide choice for breakfast, as always. The best thing for me is the venue itself...so near to everything and the underground one minute away, with the airport bus stopping almost outside!
Next time I will go there again...

Room Tip: ask for one of the new rooms it costs a bit more but it is worth it!

Second time this year to Turin and a much better choice than the Dock Milano from the first time. Good and central and close to the station and good for the trams and buses to get about the city.
Good rooms and excellent service.

Needed a hotel close to Porta Susa for an early morning train ride to Paris, and chose this hotel - 200m walk tops so fit the bill there
Family of 4 took a quadruple room which ended up being 2 small rooms adjoining. Pretty disappointed in the room - very basic, threadbare carpet and woken early in the morning by trams coming past at 5.30...get a room away from the street. Very dated décor, needs a refurb, as an example hard to find a power point in the room and wifi reception ordinary.
Good breakfast for Italy 4 star hotel as a positive.....ok as a overnight stopover but I would be looking elsewhere for a longer term stay

Room Tip: away from the street

I chose this hotel as it is so near to the station. Porta Susa. It proved to be excellent and good value, The decor is rich and stylish and colourful. The first room we had was a family room at the rear, excellent, huge a huge bed and bathroom. Air con, Good TV and free wi fi that worked. The return visit they gave us a room on the front we changed and were given an equal room on the rear which faces a typical Turin courtyard and is quiet and away from the road. The walk into town along the covered arcade is lovely. There are trams into town so transport is easy. A very nice restaurant across the road.
Had a couple of drinks, not expensive, the breakfast was excellent. Lots of variety and typical italian style sweet cakes.
No reservations, highly recommended, apart from make sure you have a rear room away from the road.
But then you will have checked that out with google street view.
