This hotel has little to recommend it, the rooms are small, the staff unfriendly and the breakfast bog standard. However it's well located and good value during the week The lift is also very small which is could be an issue for some people.

The hotel is well situated close to the metro and train station. The room was generally ok. Rather small, but clean and quiet.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was very basic. Not bad, but very little to offer. Coffee was served from three automatic machines and in some cases some of the machines were broken, which meant you had to wait in line for your not-so-good-quality coffee.

The elevators were small and slow which meant that you generally had to wait for a considerable amount of time for them to get to your floor and hope that they weren't filled already.

Overall I would say that it is an OK hotel. I wouldn't rate it as 4-star, but if you don't expect much for breakfast, it is conveniently-located clean and quiet.

Stayed 5 days October 2012 in a 4th floor room.

Close to Porta Susa train station, this hotel was very clean and staff friendly. I dont usually stay in 4stars so i cant compare, but that was a real nice hotel! Perfect for my transit, and not too far from centro historico

We got stuck in Torino for a night due to some issues trying to find a place to get international rail tickets. This hotel is located right near the Torino Porta Susa train station. Lucky for us they had one remaining room which we booked for the night. The staff were extremely helpful in trying to assist us to find trains and buses from Italy to France. The rooms were clean and enough for what we needed for the evening. Breakfast was included in the room rate and consisted of a continental and small amount of cooked food. If you find yourself in Torino then this is a good value hotel.

I picked this hotel because it was close to the railway station. Saying that the station is being upated and we came out the wrong entrance so had about a 15 minute walk to the hotel. Returning to the station the next morning we found the correct entrance, but it was a good walk to find the right platform.

The room we had was small and very dark and depressing. There was one very small flat pillow each and only a light cover on the bed. I was really cold in the night.

We decided to have a beer in the bar in the evening and it was warm, they couldn't find a cold one.

In fact we had to leave very early in the morning to catch the train to Paris and there was also a group travelling so they did open the breakfast room early for us. To make sure that no one took any food from the breakfast room, there was a "guard" watching you eat your breakfast.

If I came to this area again, I would try to find another hotel. Don't be fooled, this is never a 4 star hotel even by Italian standards.

I often come in Italy for work and I think that the hotel diplomatic is a low 4 stars compared to Italian standards.
The location is very convenient for me becouse the hotel is located near the Porta Susa railway station.
I also appreciated the capacity and speed of the team (especially in check in and check-out).
I didn't like the room, it was small and with few comforts. The decorations and the paintings on the walls ate really ugly and out of place. Positive element is free wi-fi in the room.
