I had dinner with 10 collegues in "Angolo del Beato".
It is a restaurant of my home town but it was long time I was not having dinner there.
First I want to highlight the warmfull and polite reception. This was not a postive characteristics in the past of this restaurant.
The restaurant is in an ancient building ('500) with a coffered, wooden ceiling.
Then the food. We started with the typical Piedmont cuisine selection of appetizer: salsiccia di Bra (raw veal sausage), insalata russa, hot vegetable flan with fonduta (cheese dressing) and a wonderfull salade of artichokes with parmesan cheese.
The first dish: tajarin (pasta) with cime di rapa (a vegetable). Wonderful, at the same time sour and spicy.
A negative comment: the wine. We asked for a bottle of Barbera Superiore, typical and local. They could bring a better one definetly.
Coffe and complinetary dessert (cakes and torrone) for 45€
