Our hotel gave us three suggestions, and this restaurant was open on a Monday night. We thought both the food and the service was excellent. Because the neighborhood is heavily residential with storefronts along the ground floors, I believe most of the diners lived close by. We thought it was a delightful ambience. The waiters were welcoming and helpful, especially with an Italian menu. We have a small translation book and have traveled enough in Italy to make sense of the menu.
I had homemade pasta with a buttery sauce and mushrooms. My husband had osso busco. Both were very good. The waiter offered excellent homemade bread and bruschetta. Too full for dessert or coffee, but the desserts looked good.
We would eat here again!
Price for two was 45 euros, no liquor.
