“Hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

We found this when looking for the archeological museum (which is next door). Lovely frescos and a riot of colour; beautiful trompe l'oeil ceiling.

“What can I say”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

If you like religious art this is for you.

For me the painting is interesting although a little faded.

The character referred to as St Peter is obviously Mary Magdaleine - you will have to decide who the character actually is as this is the subject of much debate.

Im not sure this on its own warrants all the fuss and trouble to see it.

“"The Last Supper"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2013

You must book tickets fairly well in advance to see this wonderful painting by da Vinci, and it is well worth it. Only 25 visitors at a time are allowed in and only for a 15 minute stay, after passing through 2 air locks. Incredible, don't miss it.

“Stunning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Beautiful painting inside the cathedral. Impressive even though its doesn't look inviting from outside the building.
