Knowing the quality and cleanliness of most hostels in Italy, this one was brilliant. Clean rooms and bathrooms, for 16 euro pp you get 2 bathrooms in a room of 4! Quiet, very very close to metro station, neighbouhood seemed OK, only you get charged for lockers, tourist tax, towels and things like that - which was surprising.
Oh one thing that was strange - the top beds in bunk beds didn't have any side protection.. so seriously, I was worried that at night I may fall off.. But the beds were otherwise pretty modern, I would say almost brand new.
Considering the pricing and quality of hostels, and even hotels in Milan - this one was a great deal for me. If I come to Milan again, and I'm on my own - heading right to this one.
