A party of 13 ladies throrughly enjoyed our stay at the begiing of December 2007.

The hotel was very clean with nice bright rooms. Excellent bathroom facilities and the fact that there was a large number of us travelling and staying together was no trouble at all for the hotel.

The hotel is very close to public metro links and within short walking distance of the dormo.

We stayed for three nights in the beginning of December, room in the fourth floor, comfortable and large enough for two people. The hotel itself has an elegant style that you discover only from the inside, as the façade is modern. Incredibly good breakfast, I didn´t find those same products in the supermarkets in town.
I hope to find such a hotel in every city I visit.

Within the last year I have used and relied upon Trip Advisor to select hotels. This is the first time i have written a review. I booked the Romana Residence on the basis of the previous reviews and the price. We were not dissapointed, we had a great time. The Hotel is excellent value for money. It has a nice hotel bar and good size rooms. Its only a 10 minute walk from the Duomo and is located on a nice street with shops and metro stops. I'd say the hotel is 3 star and not a 4 but you are unlikely to find a hotel as nice as this for this price in such a location. Make sure you go to the restaurant to rear of the the hotel, its called Calimero Cafe and we had the some of the very best food there on our trip,, along with excellent service. We were at the hotel for new years eve and the Hotel left us a gift bag with sparkling wine and chocolates - nice touch!!

Since me and my friends were travelling on a tight budget when we were looking for a hotel to stay in Milan our options were very limited!! Until we came upon Romana Residence a 4* hotel that had the prices of a 2*!!!! 70 euros for a double room (breakfast was included) was a very good deal since it was a 5 minute walk to the duomo and the metro station crocetta next to the hotel!!!.The rooms had a king size bed a tv set ,a fridge,air condition,even a kitchen!!! It was very clean and breakfast was so full of everything one needs to start the day!!The staff had a very good knowledge of english and they were kind enough to book us a mini van to take us to Malpensa airport at 05:00am.
Although Milan is much prettier on the north it is not worth paying lots of money and book a hotel there because Romana Residence offers you all that you expect from a 5*hotel and it is so so cheap!! if you decide to book this hotel don't hesitate to ask the staff about the weather(every day they give you details of the day's climate)and give you directions(bus routes,metro routes) to every part of the city you wish!!!
don't forget to visit Santa Maria Delle Grazie where Da Vinci's "Last Supper" is...... You will be astonished!!!! There is a bus 30 metres from the hotel that takes you there!!! Don't forget to prebook the tickets at least 2 months before your visit!!!
