went on a free evening viewing, absolutely stunning pictures from throughout the ages, where else can you get so close to old masters with such a chilled out feel

“Worth it for Il bacio alone!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Fantastic gallery, though was a bit hard to find the entrance. Painting of Il bacio is a really breath-taker. Good value for money and if you are a student you get it even cheaper.

Perfect for spending a couple of hours just looking at fab and big paintings!

“sad”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

it is so sad to see such structure fall apart. i've been there several times and have always remained shocked the way it is bad managed and bad maintained. how can a museum have no air-co in the summer whilst hosting oil paintings? so decadent, so sad but still pricey. very italy.

“not too big, but kinda weird placements”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Admittedly I know nothing about curation, but I could find now rhyme or reason to the placement of their admittedly impressive paintings.
WORSE: why do they have to hang all the painting labels at thigh-height? There's room at eye-level next to the paintings to hang the little info-signs. There's no need to make everyone bend and peer all the time.

“Awesome collection and great neighbourhood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This has a fantastic art collection - all through the ages - and, is in a cool neighbourhood for having a cafe stop or drinks. Really enjoyed it as my ken cultural stop in Milan
