Hotel Sanpi is a very pleasant, nice and small hotel (79 rooms) situated in a quiet area of Milan. Walking distance to the Dome and very close to the big shopping street. Upon arrival we had some wine and snacks in the very nice and wonderful garden. Nice flowers and a relaxing atmosphere! The service was excellent and the local white vine too... We were suggested to have dinner at a restaurant opposite the hotel, which turned out to be very good choice! Average prices, excellet service and very "Italian"! Upon check out and departure our car was ready outside the hotel and to Linate Airport it took us approximatley 20 minutes! We will highly recommend Hotel Sanpi for your next trip to Milan. We will certainly stay there next time too...

A part from some error messages with the online booking, the hotel itself was very pleasant. Staff were professional and friendly and the rooms were clean and well furbished. We had lunch in the little garden (on a beautiful sunny day) which was lovely. The pasta was okay but the salad and fresh fruit salad my husband had were delicious. Breakfast was abundant with plenty of choice. Nice shops nearby and metro station and train station and the Hertz rental car office were nearby so we couldn't have picked a better location! All in all a great stay.

Cute little hotel about a 10 minute walk from Duomo. As long as you're willing to walk, everything is pretty much walking distance. We booked the hotel last minute goingoff other peoples reviews on trip advisor and we were'nt dissapointed at all.
Pretty much your average, clean, safe Hotel. The staff was more then willing to work with you if you had any special request. Room was clean and comfortble . Breakfast sweet and simple. There is internet in the room.. All in all, we would stay there again.

We arrived by train from Venice (took a taxi - cost about Euros 8) to a very warm welcome from Mr Mauro Troisi (GM) and his very service orientated reception team. The friendly staff were well informed in providing answers to our many and varied questions/requests.
Hotel Sanpi is on one of the quieter side streets and about a 10min slow walk to the main shopping street of Corso Buenos Aires; where you will also find the Porta de Venezia metro station which brings you to the main tourist sights like the Duomo if you are disinclined to walk!
The Central Train Terminal (where we arrived into) is an easy 10-15min walk, where we bought tickets for a day's trip to Lake Como. It is also where you can connect to the other Italian and European cities.
Our room was one of the larger ones, able to comfortably accommodate a single and double bed, with room for walking around even with 3 suitcases! Tastefully decorated with artwork. Being on the ground floor, the street can be a tad noisy on weekend nights and early morning hours.
The hotel has many cosy corners in the lobby area - if you have the time to just sit quietly!
We enjoyed afternoon coffee in the beautiful outdoor garden courtyard.
The breakfast room located in the basement served a good varied buffet selection, tables brightened up with fresh flowers, and staff on hand to serve you freshly brewed coffee and hot chocolate.
All in all a very pleasant stay , wish we could have stayed longer!
Just a note - Malpensa airport is about an hour's journey ......

Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nice breakfast buffet.
Rooms are small, which is very normal in Milan, but pleasant and clean.
Parking might be a significant additional cost.
