“Very nice service / good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

Clean hotel. Conveniently located near Lima metro station. Very good service, and very friendly staff who speak good English. Buffet breakfast includes cappucinos, and other coffee drinks. Some renovation underway. Bathrooms in renovated rooms are much nicer than most small European hotels.

Room Tip: Renovation is underway. Ask for a room that has been renovated.

Very good location for exploring Milan. Close to central station.
Really nice neighbourhood, calm and not noisy. Pretty close to good restaurants and wine road (recommend for a nice glass of wine).
Small rooms but clean. No fridge and no proper shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was ok. WiFi to purchase by the hour for 1euro.

The rooms where quite small, but clean and quit. The breakfast was nice and we were taking it everyday in the terrace, which was really nice.
The is staff polite and helpfull, the price worthed the money, but the most important was the location of the hotel. Near to Corso Buenos Aires and to a metro station, even the central station is close and you can walk to it. I would suggest it to someone who would like to visit Milan

(+) Very convenient location, quiet neighborhood, clean, good breakfast, rooms in appropriate size, terraced rooms
(-) Corridor's floor on the top floor needed renovation (I'm not sure this problem exists now, since we were staying there last year), there is no minibar, Rooms were not sound proofed, Paid internet (Wifi in lobby & wired in rooms), staff was mostly friendly and just one of them was a little indifferent (we asked for a map of Milan and he said it is not available!)

This hotel has a lovely location, excellent staff, friendly and extremely hard-working. Rooms are very clean, nice to have clean towels every day. Tasty breakfast, all in all fantastic value for your money and worth to take a visit!

The hotel is conveniently located near a train station (Lima) that takes you directly (4 stops) to the city center (Duomo). It has an Italian restaurant in front and many shops and cafes surrounding. The hotel is very small and only the lobby and common areas are renovated. The rooms are outdated and very small. I traveled with kids so the rooms are important for me. If traveling alone or in couples, maybe this is manageable. The breakfast is simple but good and the coffee is very good. There are better hotels close by similar in price and with better rooms. If they renovate the rooms, the overall hotel rating is better.

In a business that requires people to be nice.... these people are just plain out NASTY! From the second I walked in and said hello with no reply from the receptionist, no offer to help with luggage, much less help. Then telling us that our toddler has an extra astronomical fee per day... Of course they have ours backs against the wall and can make up any fee they like when they are paid up front, thanks to "Hotels.com". But this is not so much the problem as how rude the staff was with us. When asked to speak with the manager, hoping for an apology -which quite honestly would have sufficed... the nightmare truly begins.
He had the audacity to confront my wife and get in her face!!! I could not believe this, I have never in my life witnessed such a horrific display of cowardly behavior on behalf of a so called man. He boasted on how much money he had and insulted my wife and myself with filthy language. I was more than happy to sign a document where I would be allowed to give him the beating of his life with no legal repercussions but of course he would not oblige.
Don't get me wrong this ill behavior was not limited to us, a British gentleman who we had seen early also complained to us when we meet him outside. with the exception that he was more than willing to beat the lights out of this manager / property owner (as he described).
Don't be duped by the pretty lobby, the English gent who actually helped us afterwards with our luggage seemed to be an outright good person and listed his complaints from the staff to the quality of the rooms. I can not believe he would say these things just to indulge us.
I so terribly regret this dramatic situation that my 3 year old had to witness and I truly believe that I am providing a service for those who might consider this establishment in there travel plans. DO NOT GO THERE!!! And this is coming from a person that does not take the time to complain online, never have but these circumstances just went way to far.....And to add insult to injury, they charged us for a room we never used.
