“2 night stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2014

Great location, 15 mins from the train station and the drop off point, of the Bergamo airport buses.
Just walk from the front of the grand looking station, in a straight line, past the Westin Palace and turn left. Metro just a short walk from the hotel.
Walk up a large flight of stairs to the top where reception is placed.
I had a single room, 3 doors down the small corridor, from then reception desk. Room 25 I think.
Bed was barely comfortable. But the room was clean the blanket looked worn. The shower cubicle should be replaced as it was faulty.I couldn't close the doors without some effort and as a result the screens had mold on them. It would be impossible for a cleaner to get inside and clean the screens properly, due to the small size. The room construction seemed to put the neighbouring en-suite at the foot of the your bed. Consequently your en-suite door must be likewise, protruding into the space next door. Well all I could get was 6 hours sleep each night. I resorted to stuffing my ears with tissue paper on the second night, due to the NOISE. I am a heavy sleeper normally and snore loudly.
The noise was due to the hard floored corridor and room, causing the noise to travel and amplify.
I couldn't get to sleep easily, because the receptionist down the corridor was talking until I passed out at about 12:30 am only to be woken by the another receptionist chatting at 7:30 am.
In addition on the first night, a returning couple at 3:00 am banged their way down the corridor causing me to jump awake. The next night, both rooms next to me were occupied and when they used the on-suite the noise was dreadful. In addition I thought someone was doing construction next door but later discovered it was the metal chair legs on the stone tiled floor being moved.
Breakfast was basic in the small area next to the reception.
Also with the window open, cigarette smoke disturbed me in bed. It seemed the room next door had it's window right next to mine and the guest was smoking out of his window and it drifted straight into mine, so I had to close it.
It's Milan and 2 star I suppose !
I had far better value in Verona and Bergamo.
I would not re-visit this hotel . They need to carpet the hotel and tell the staff to whisper.

Room Tip: Don't pick the first 3 single rooms. Pick a room around the corner of the corridor. Doubles I be...

Stayed in a double bed room, the room was pretty big, air con didn't seem to work. The breakfast is grim just cereal and some very bad croissants, although they will make you coffee the espresso is nice. 10 minute walk to station 20-30 minute walk to duomo

Good location. We are used to budget accommodation but this "hotel" smells of stale smoke amongst other things and is generally dark and dingy. There is no air conditioning and the beds in our room were dirty (covered in other people's hairs). You can also hear everything from rooms around you.

We have been clients for seven years now. Every time we are in Milan Hotel Casa Mia is a must! Fausto, the owner, is really great! Knows his job to the full; satisfaction guaranteed! Long or short stays. ..top comfort and competitive prices all year round. Absolutely recommendable!

We stayed for 2 nights in June and literally just slept here. There was nothing to complain about! It was clean, aircon worked perfectly and room was fairly spacious. Bathrooms fine. We found it very convenient as it was close to metro and tram stops, 15 min walk to main station and there was an inexpensive supermarket close by. I would recommend it for any budget traveller.

I visitied Milan for business trip. All I needed was a descent rational priced hotel and this one fits the bill.
Close to the train station from the airport
Next door to a metro station
Clean
Warm
Breakfast not the beast possible, but OK
Helpfull reception staff
Ideal for me.
Enjoyed the stay. The wi-fi in our room was not the best (but we were the last room down the corridor at the far end of the building) but worked.

Stayed here for 3 nights, Receptionist is very helpful and will tell you where to go for a good time or for the main tourist spots. Room is small but heating works well, it is a very basic setup. For an expensive city this place is very good value for money.

You will get what you paid for.. and as such there is no cmplaints. Free wifi as well helps, and your location is first class
