I stayed in this hotel from 20 - 23 October 04, which was a birthday treat from my partner.

The hotel itself was very nice, I tried to get reviews on this hotel and only found one which was a surprise considering how big the hotel is, there is over 700 rooms. When I arrived at the hotel I thought I arrived at the wrong hotel because the lobby was wow! it was not what I was expecting. I was getting very worried because there wasn't much information about the hotel.

The staff was very helpful.

The room was very clean and was cleaned everyday. It had excellent soundproof which was good considering we looked over a very busy main road.

The hotel location was ideal there was lots of restaurants, bars, shops, and a main train line.

The only problem was how expensive it was to travel to and from the airport (Malpensa) which cost 75 euros by taxi. Luckly we found an alternative route via a shuttle bus and train which took us about 1hr30mins. It may have taken us longer but in total for the two of us it was less than 10 euros.

I stayed at this hotel for three night and had mixed views about its overall excellence.1. Its location is fine at Garilibadi Station and easy to get to.2. Service was functional and polite.3. A voucher to pay for a meal for the Pizzeria at the Hotel was not honoured by the waiter as he denied getting it. This was quickly rectified by hotel management at the front desk. Pizza was reasonable.4. The room was an 'Executive room' - farily clean but the sink was blocked. House keeping also failed to replenish stock such as coffee, tea and toiletries. The Bed in the room was superb. Firm and really comfortable.5. Breakfast was not exceptional. Limited variety for vegetarians who may want something hot.6. Good concierge service - responsive. However, the hotel have a agreed rate of 30 Euros to Linate Airport by taxi. Don't use it. It is expensive. Provided you do not have luggage you can get to the airport by public transport for less that 10 Euros whilst a normal taxi should cost you no more than 22 Euros.This is not the nicest hotel in Milan but neither was it bad. However, there are better ones in the Golden Tulip of Atta Hotel Chains.
