“Clean Comfy Hotel + Nice Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2014

I stayed there from 1/1/2014 until 5/1/2014. My room was nice, comfy and clean (superior room). The people at the reception very nice and polite at all times. My only complain (and it's the first time I complained at a hotel about something) was the breakfast. After 10am (the breakfast was till 10:30am) if there was nothing on the trays, then there was no food coming till 10:30. Thats it!! No plates, etc. Every other day I could tell there were items from the previous day (ie. bread, fruits). Service well below average. One morning, I asked 5 times for coffee. Overall though it's a nice clean hotel at a perfect location and it's a pity that the breakfast area is below average.

We stayed 3 nights at the UNA hotel Cusani during NYE.

The hotel is right next to the Castello Sforzesco, which is a good location w.r.t the rest of Milan. There is a Metro stop only about 50 min from the entrance, and a few meters more and you are at one of the ends of Via Dante (Shopping street that leads to the Duomo, which is only 5-10min walk away).

The room (classic room), was large, nice and clean. The bed was nice and comfortable, although it is fairly hard. You could also choose between 3 different pillows if you talked to the reception. The staff was good and happy to help us. The breakfast was pretty good. We also tried the restaurant for dinner, and it was very good (although a bit expensive).

Unfortunatly the Wi-Fi / Parking / Mini-bar is very expensive, and the prices are not clear before you get the bill for the stay!

Very nice hotel, and if you get it to a good price it is a good place to stay!

Room Tip: Rooms on the north side of the hotel has a tram going just on the outside of the windos, could be so...

This hotel is close to Duomo and right next to the coach pick up point to the outlet mall. If you're going to the outlet mall, this is the hotel to stay.

Rooms are relatively small but clean. Breakfast is reasonable. There're some restaurants nearby with quite some varieties.

We stayed here for 3 nights and we're delighted with our choice of hotel. We booked a classic room but were offered an upgrade to a junior suite at a very reasonable rate which was worth every euro! The junior suite with view of the castle was lovely and great value (also included free wifi and minibar - excellent!). The room was very comfortable - in summer I can imagine perhaps too warm as was no air con to take room below 19 degrees C but in November it was fine.

The location was excellent - right by the cairoli stop on the m1 (red) underground line - two stop from duomo and three from San Babilla where the public bus from linate airport stops. Alternatively it's just a short walk down a pedestrian street to the spectacular duomo.

Breakfast was limited for hot food but the continental options were fine and the cappuccinos were very good!

The staff we're welcoming every time we came into the hotel. Check in and out was very smooth. They were very helpful in printing out our boarding passes and they happily brought us milk for hot drinks in the room. We also were given a lovely complimentary selection of fresh fruit in our room (it was a birthday trip).

Would definitely stay here again if ever returned to milan.

Stayed just one night on November 7th, 2013. Location is great if you wish to be by the Duomo, which is a five minutes walk away.
Hotel amenities are good and breakfast was very good as well.
I only slept and had breakfast, having arrived in the evening and left my carry on with the bell boys who gave it back to me in the late afternoon but had checked out already.
Arrival was smooth, staff was professional and friendly. Rooms spacious, bathrooms as well.
Would recommend and I would surely stay there again, if back in Milano anytime in the future.

Room Tip: Hight floor rooms as I had a first floor room on the square so, though the windows are double glaze...

I selected this hotel based on careful reading of reviews and we are both very pleased with UNA Cusani. We selected an executive double room to celebrate our anniversary and received a very sizable well-appointed room. Location is terrific, with an easy walk to many of the sites in Milan, including a nice long pedestrian boulevard literally around the corner. We took the train from the airport and easily made the 5 minute walk to the hotel. Wifi speeds are on the low side at 0.41 Mbps down and 0.97 up, but I didn't come to Milan to do business. But what really made this hotel for us was the staff. I'd emailed a couple questions before leaving and got quick responses. Upon arrival, Tiziana at the front desk remembered all of that. At every touch point, the staff made us feel valued and for that, I am thankful. They did something special for our anniversary and we were most appreciative. About two hours after leaving, I realized that we'd left my electric adapter plugged in the room mirror (doh!). Not a problem - a quick phone call and a couple emails including my approval to pay for shipping and they've already sent it ahead to my next hotel (in Florence as I type). Again, I've been all around the world and UNA's well-trained staff showed such kindness that I'm a new fan of the company.
