“A real find in Milan”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2011

This hotel seems really out of place in its out of the way side street location, but is a great find. It's gloriously over the top, especially the foyer, and the rooms are well-appointed and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. It's probably a good 4 star rather than 5 star, and the gym is expensive, but overall it's good value for a Milan hotel of this quality

That's probably because it's a fair distance out of the centre, but it is a very easy metro journey (about 15 mins) to the Duomo, and it's also a great place to be based if you're going to a match at ther San Siro. There are also a couple of great traditional restaurants close by - the one across the road is particularly good.

Great place, be forewarned, it is around 90 euro to get from MXP airport to here. Very friendly staff, get you checked in pretty quickly. Great lobby area, large and accommodating. Room was pretty nice and spacious, bed was comfortable, and overall the room was pretty clean. Gym and spa are outstanding, lots of machines, dumbbells, and cardio equipment. Nothing really around the area to see, best bet is to get on the train and go see the city that way. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels you will find in Milan, and if your visiting San Siro it is the closest you will find. You can make the walk to San Siro or a €10 taxi will take to the front door. The 'Lotto Fiera' underground stop is only a block away from the hotel, with easy links to the rest of the city or Malpensa.
From the grand marbled lobby with doorman and concierge, this hotel is opulent and made for your pleasure. The rooms are immense by Italian standards, and exquisitely decorated, with all amenities and both local and UK TV stations to choose from. Beware, its €30 for a room service burger.

i spent some nights in this hotel for different business trips. the hotel is nice, but a bit kitsch. employees are really willing to help. unfortunately neraby good restaurants are missing. nice to have a parking (to be payed) nearby so you can avoid parking problems. rooms are big and the hall is laways having nice things exposed (old cars, artistic statues etc).

If you unlucky enough to be given a room with twin beds you will need to push them together (not an easy task with a table and phone to move). They are very narrow and hard. Breakfast is pleasant and there is Philipino gent who is very attentive and customer focused, most of the other staff are less inclined to assist you.

Room Tip: double bed

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2011

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for the Take That concert as the San Siro Stadium was approx half hours walk (in our heels!) so could be faster. Hotel was fabulous although I was surprised that there was a charge for the spa. I arrived much earlier than my friends and room was not ready I thought I would pass the time away in the spa but it was €30 just for the sauna steam and jacuzzi! However the staff were wonderful very friendly and engaging. True the prices in the bar are a bit steep but its a 5 star hotel and the service is second to none. Although the surrounding area of the hotel is not too exciting if you are going to a gig at the stadium its a good venue and easy to negotiate the metro system. I found my way from Linate airport to the hotel for the princely sum of €2!! Transport system is fantastic, tip buy one of those weekender passes which you can use for 48 hours on the metro etc. Another tip if you want to see the "Last Supper" it must be booked on line 2 months in advance! Buy water from the metro stations or a local shop before you get into the city centre prices range from 49c to €1.20!!

Terrible room service! This morning I called to ask for a spoon and they wanted to charge me 5 euros to deliver it. This is complimentary in any decent hotel in the world!
Plus, no kettle in the rooms, so you can't have a tea or coffee whenever you feel like.
Disappointed with my stay in this hotel. Staff seems nice though.
