“Avoid this hotel at all costs!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2011

Location is close to Milano Centrale train station, so it is not the worst but at night this location can be creepy, this area is highly populated by foreigners, so Italian language is rarely heard.

Hotel lobby is old but decent, tiny elevator will take you to you floor without a problem. Rooms are small with basic equipment usually found in cheaper places (we paid 60EUR per night). Cleanness of room and bathroom could be seriously improved. Main wall was dirty, used sop bar was left in the shower, tile floor was not too pleasant for naked feet – it felt a bit dirty. Air conditioning didn’t do much, it was on to max and since outside was about +36C, room felt like sauna.

Breakfast is included in room price. This was by fare the worst breakfast we had ever seen. It is served from 7 to 11 a.m. and we arrived at 9 a.m. and there was nothing fresh left to eat, coffee was more transparent than tea and tasted nothing more like hot water. We spent there about 20 minutes waiting for waiter to replenish cheese and ham, nothing happened... waiter just went from one empty table to others just to shake of some bred crumbs – so we left hungry! :(

I just wanted somewhere for one night before flying back to England at the end of a cycling holiday in the nearby mountains. There was a reluctance to show me a room which made me suspicious but then the receptionist asked me to go up to the sixth floor where a cleaner would show me single room. The cleaner showed me the room and I was happy with it for the price of 55 euro including breakfast. The room was clean with electric shutters and a decent shower and toilet. The only English speaking programme on the TV was CNN.
Breakfast was nothing special but was adequate in quantitiy. The room was quiet and I slept well. The hotel is on Via Scarlatti and a very easy walk from the main railway station (about ten minutes). There was a charge for wi-fi and it looked complicate: a notice informed me that Italian anti-terrorist legislation required me to register all passwords against my name. No way!. Found an internet café on nearby Via Felice Casati nearby with no problem.Has a one hour use and printed my boarding pass all for one euro. Being August many nearby hotels and restaurants were closed and some of the hotels in the area looked a bit seedy from the outside. I would stay there again

We stayed here in 2 double rooms. The first one was at third level, and it was terrible because the windows and the blinds couldn`t open, the room was small and dark. It had "view" at the main street and it was very noisy. The second one was better, at the fifth level and the windows were pointed to the back of the hotel, so we could open the windows and it wasn`t noisy. Services: Wi-fi - no, breakfast - poor, almost nothing to eat. Location: excellent. Elevator: small- 4 person only. Overall impression: not so good.

1 star for rooms
4 stars for reception
This hotel was a great price 125.00 per twin room for 2 nights and the service at reception was excellent, however the rooms were a complete let down, though the bedding was clean, the carpet was disgusting very very grubby i have seen better in an old pub !
the rooms smell musty and bathroom of drains, bathroom walls were dirty and mouldy and the showers are tiny.
we had booked a double room and were given a twin and told they were already over booked.
the air conditioning did not ever reach a suitable low temperature and switched off in the middle of the night so we woke up sweating buckets !
there was something dripping through the landing ceiling on to the floor i guess from a bathroom above !
The bar was only open in the evening.
if you want cheap in a reasonable location and can stand the smell and dirt book it !!!

I stayed 2 nights. It has a good location very close to the Central Station. It is a nice neiborghood. Breakfast wasn´t so great and the single bedroom was incredible small, but I really didn´t mind because of the location. I felt safe there. I always try to make a video of every hotel I stay. Check this one out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFtfuC8ahh4

Room Tip: Even if you travel alone, just add 10 extra euros, I think a double room would worth.

The hotel in general has a good location if you need to wake up early and go to Stazione Centrale. Also it is not way long to the city center (about 20 minutes walk). I prefer to stay near station as usually I stay 1 day in Milan and then go to lake Como (recommended to visit).
Breakfast was usual. Believe me or not I wouldn't say that the hotel is terrible. The hotel is really good for its price.

I was here with my mother and aunt. We stayed 2 nights and booked a room for 3 persons. The room was actually like an appartment. There was a small and a big sleeping room and a bathroom with bath tube. The hotel and the rooms are clean. Negative point is that the air conditioning was not working in the big sleeping room (you can feel the wind blowing, but it was warm wind). Fortunally the airco was working in the small bedroom. Another negative point is that the wifi is not working in the rooms, only at the lobby.
