We booked this hotel after reading the reviews on tripadvisor and we're glad that we did. The hotel is directly opposite central station and if you get the bus from Malpensa airport it drops you off here.
The location is great for both the tube from central station and it's only 30min walk from Duomo - the main square with shops and restuarants. The other reviewers about central station being 'dodgy' at night are slightly misleading in that we never had any fear but a woman alone may do.
The hotel rooms were modern, clean and reasonaby spacious. It is definately a business orientated hotel but that is a good thing with efficient, friendly check in staff.
The bar staff however were non-existent. We went for a drink in the bar and despite there being upwards of 15 people there was only 1 service staff made it a nightmare to get served. This happened for 2 of the 3 nights we were there and put us off eating in the restaurant (the bar/restaurant are in the same room).
Breakfast was in the basement and had a wide selection to choose from however it would not be our first choice - sugar coated croissants, meats, cheeses and chocolate cake?!
Overall if we were to go back to Milan we would stay here again but the lack of facilities prevent us from giving it a 5 star (have a wander down to the Westin hotel for a comparison) and the lack of bar staff lose it another point - but still a very good 3 out of 5.
