“Get the heating system fixed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

I had to change rooms 3 times. They finally gave me a room 3 levels below what I paid, but with heat and TV that worked. As a compromise, the manager comped my water from the mini-bar. The staff at this hotel are either disinterested or under 25. The senior staff will not assist clients and the young ones, try as they may, have no clue.
Be aware that non-smoking rooms in this hotel likely allow any smoking other than crack. The place reaks to the high heavens and the AC does not function. TVs work intermittently at best. Count on malfunctioning telephones as well.

Room Tip: close to central station. However, airport trains queue primarily from north station. There are be...

This hotel is quite centrally located from both Linate and Malpensa airport with an average transfer time of about 20 minutes. Cab cost us around 25 Euros single.
The hotel seems to be stuck in a rather depressed area. The only thing the hotel has within 5 minutes walking that actually has some interest is their amazing train station. (actually amazing no sarcasm) great architecture!!
Check in was quite speedy and our room was very clean, spacious and overall lovely. The concierge was very helpful and often told us not to stay out too late as the area can be unsafe (mini Brooklyn)
There is not much going for this hotel - no spa or swimming pool. There is a train station within 5 minutes walk and you will find traveling on the trains probably the most convenient ways of traveling through Milan (cheaper than a cab!!). Walking to the train station you will find Nigerians and Indian hawkers trying to sell you rc helicopters and sunshades. We just ignored them and walked on. The most happening place is called Duomo where you will find every designer shop under the sun and also tonnes of bars and restaurants.Overall this hotel is ok if you are wanting a place to sleep. On the return journey to the airport i booked the Malpensa express train tot he airport which cost me 8 Euros. Definetly cheaper than talking a cab.

The hotel is a reasonable choice for a short business trip to Milan. The hotel has a good level of service, but fairly standard rooms. The hotel is located close to the central train station, but that is not a particularly central nor interesting neighborhood.
The fitness room is small, but functional and is conveniently open 24 hours a day. The 30€ breakfast buffet is ridiculously expensive as is the 20€ internet connection.

Only a 10 min walk from the Centrale Station & the Metros. If you need to take a cab ride to the Duomo area it is only 12 eu away. As to the rooms we stayed in the Executive level rooms, they are very comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Would recommend a room that faces inward as the hotel is on a very busy boulevard. The Internet was very dependable & free to Honors members. The breakfast was the one of the best I have exprerienced at the Hilton's. The eggs were particularly yummie & a nice selection of breads. Coffee was excellent. The lobby bar area was a great place to have a cocktail or beer (nice selection) at the end of the day. Prices were resonable, seating was comfortable & very nice flat screen televisions. I will be staying here again on my next stay in Milan.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here. We flew to Bergamo and took the bus to the Centrale Station which is very close to the hotel and it was very convenient. We are part of their loyalty program and our room was upgraded and was very nice. We only used the metro to get into the centre of Milan once as we preferred to walk, but it was easy to use. We had a great weekend in Milan and I would stay here again.
My only complaint is that the coffee in the executive lounge is pretty bad, I think it is instant. This was disappointing given coffee is such an important part of Italian life. Once someone offered to make us a coffee and went into the back and brought out proper espresso and that was more what I would have expected.

We remained here for two nights and came in from Linate airport, which is about 10 kms to the city center. We took the bus to central station which was for 5 € each, the ride was about 25 Mins. The hotel is just 1 block away from central station. A Taxi will be for about 25 € minimum, so you can choose. The welcome at the hotel was fine, being a gold member we got an upgrade to the executive floor. The room itself was spacius, the bathroom a little bit too small, everything was clean. We had bathrobes, slippers, nothing to miss! In the executive lounge we missed nothing, the staff was friendly with average knowledge in English which was (due to my lack in Italian) highly appreciated. The breakfast was good, everything was fresh, of gooed taste and shape. The hotel bar was not very inviting, nevertheless, the staff was friendly, and so we had two sundowners here. The check-out was fast. Overall, we had a nice weekend. The hotel is not very close to the city center, so you need the subway from central station. And, of course, the hotel needs some renovation, it got long in the tooth. Coming back? Yes.

Reasonable hotel very close to the Centrale station, which is very convenient for a trip to Lake Como... We definitely benefited from being Hilton loyalty scheme members and being able to use the Exec lounge and free wi-fi as the bar drinks/wi-fi were a bit pricey. Breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food for all tastes. Room was what we expected, clean and reasonably sized - no frills - typical Hilton affair. The very comfortable bed was the most memorable aspect of the room...
