A lot of hotels in Italy are overrated, and this is one of them.
Staff were nice, and breakfast buffett, though not incredible, was fine.
The room was unbelievably small and worn out. You barely had room to walk from the side of the queen bed to the wall, on both sides. We got a corner room close to the fire exit that I believe is a little smaller than most rooms. At least, it had nothing to do with the pictures you can find in internet. We complained, but weren't allowed to change.
Only one lift was working during our weekend stay, and we had to walk up and down several times. The bathroom was really tiny, and you couldn't even close the shower door, flodding everything every time you showered. The bed was ok, but the blanquet looked old and so worn out it seemed dirty.
Surprisingly, they had complimentary slippers in the room (only one pair though, thank god my wife brought hers along). Location is not great, about 5 minutes from the metro that will take you to the center in a couple of stops. About ten minutes by taxi. We only paid 86 eur per night on the hotel website, and you only get what you pay for. We used it just to sleep while visiting the city (shopping ), and it served its purpose, though I wouldn't pay more than that. It is defenetly not more than a very good 2 star hotel, maybe a generous
3 star. Don't go there if you plan to stay in the hotel more than necessary, if you need to get back to the hotel more than once per day or if you have 3-4 star expectations by international standards.
