My husband stayed at the Grand Hotel Brun when he traveled to Milan on business. I met up with him at the end of his stay so that we could embark on a week-long visit of Milan, Florence, and Rome. The hotel had by far the most luxurious accomodations of all the hotels we stayed at.

The room was clean, spacious, and noise free. The bathroom was American-friendly (i.e. there was a shower and enough room for two people to move around and get ready).

The breakfast each morning was exceptional, but not creative. Meats, cheeses, cereal, excellent cappuccinos, yogurt, pastries, eggs, and bacon were served each morning. Again, by far, the best breakfast spread we had on our trip.

There were services that are considered standard for most business travelers - internet, laundry, room service, bar, meeting facilities.

However, the hotel was located in the suberbs and we had to drive to get to downtown Milan and to get to the train station (drive to downtown was approximately 15 minutes). If you are in Milan strictly for vacation, I would probably recommend a hotel closer to downtown. However, for any other purpose, I would recommend this hotel. It was a wonderful hotel and we had a great experience.
