“Tourist trap”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012 via mobile

This is a place that appears to specialise in overcharging tourists for mediocre food. If it were in England, they would be visited by Trading Standards but this is Italy.

“Rip off prices for tourists.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

Beware of this place. I paid 17 euros for a panino, diet coke and cup of coffee. Judging from the other reviews, this is standard practice in this joint.

“Mediocre food, rip-off prices and interesting accounting”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2012 via mobile

I had a small, mediocre pizza, a glass of wine not fit for cooking with and a small plastic bottle of water which probably cost 20 cent but was mine for a mere 3.50. When I paid the extortionate bill (22 euro), the total was not entered into the cash register. When I asked for a receipt, I got a random one from a pile beside the till, detailing two euro less than the paid amount, and which had been printed two hours earlier. Adding grumpy service, I would advise everyone to avoid this dump like the plague.

“Great lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 31, 2012

One block south of La Scala on Via Manzoni, great gelateria and cafe. I had a panino that was so tasty, crispy on the outside, prosciutto and provalone on the inside. Reasonably priced too!

“29 euros for 3 cups of coffee and a tiramisu!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2011

Please do not even enter this place! EVER!! We had too because my mother has health problems after too much walking. The decoration gives you an instant headache. Then, an old lady comes to invite you to order croissants in a suave voice. She does so at least 3 times with tourists. None of the things we ordered were something to write home about. When I saw the bill, it included the fee for the coperto, although only one of us had actually eaten something. I told her in Italian that not even in Paris had I seen such astronomic prices. At the same time, a couple of German tourists were also complaining about their bill. So, do not go there, it is an act of civic interest!
