“As stylish as Milan itself”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

This is a centrally located hotel, just a few minutes easy walking from the Duomo.
The narrow frontage gives no indication of the interior, which is light, airy and contemporary. The reception area is small but leads into an attractive and spacious lounge, then the even roomier breakfast and restaurant area.
The whole place is immaculately maintained and standards here are impeccable. The desk staff are welcoming and check in is easy. Room décor is modern and very fresh, with contemporary fittings, pale woods, blue themed décor and modern art prints.
Bathrooms in this hotel are a joy. The roomy double shower had floor-level blue lighting and powerful overhead showerheads. Toiletries were amply supplied and in chunky, user friendly little tubs. There was also a generous supply of accessories, including facial sponge, cotton wool, cleansing pads, cotton buds, emery board, hair band, shoe cleaner, individual tissues box and handbag sized tissue pack. Another nice touch was that all the soft drinks in the mini bar were free and were restocked by the maid every day.
Wi fi was also free in all areas of the hotel.
Breakfast provided a great range of choice and the buffet selections were very attractively displayed. Cake selections were ringed with fresh strawberries and pyramids of plums and grapes were topped with fresh flowers. Fruit items, prepared or fresh, were great, as was the granola. This tasted homemade and was delicious. Cooked selections were prepared to order and served up with the same style in their presentation. Servers were pleasant and the service was fast, with hot items cooked and served quickly.
It would be impossible to fault this hotel. It exceeded all our expectations and would be our first choice for any future visits to this lively city.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are very quiet.

A few minutes from Duomo and La Scala and main fashion shopping areas. You need to like modern decor, (as a lover of faded glory in old hotels I was not offended by the modern trappings). Staff were superbly helpful. Altogether a very enjoyable experience.

The hotel well located . Of walking distance to the duomo, shopping and to the church where the last supper is .

Hotel staff are friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. They greet each time cheerfully and always have a smile in their faces.

Our room was slightly bigger than a standard room I think..had a lovely area for a sofa.
Rooms are spacious and beds are comfy.
Free wireless is a plus !

Our housekeeping was really tidy and clean. Some just vacuum around things but this crew were good.

Breakfast was delicious .

I would go back to stay should there be a visit to Milan again

Exceptional staff at the reception and breakfast ladies are a treat. Very well located, next door to Peck thank you god! Across the road fro Pal Zaleri, Laudree, and an exceptional seafood venue. One and half blocks to Duomo, Galleria, La Scala - everything really.

We had a high room with city scape view Duomo and Galleria upper reaches and to the snow on the mountains. The windows opened wide and welcomed in Milan, very pleasant.

This was a necessary stopover to link with a flight, but we found much more depth to Milan than expected.
The Spadari is a good hotel, excellently located and very well staffed. Highly recommend!

This hotel is right in the heart of everything in Milan. One or two blocks to the Duomo ,Opera House and the Galleria...We were unable to book this hotel on the internet so I called the hotel directly..We found the rooms to be on the small side but very comfortable, We were on the 6th floor w/balcony and had 2 sets of sliding doors for soundproofing which worked very well.At the breakfast area, personnel were very accommodating and its a place which feels very calming and relaxing due to design, colors and lighting..Would definately return

My fiance and I had a great stay at Spadari. After a late night out, was the complimentary breakfast in the room a great way to start the day. Also the people at the reseption was nice and service minded.

But, the rooms is expensive, and the air condition was quite noisy.

By far the best hotel I ever stayed in Europe. It offers genuine hospitality in an elegant surroundings at exclusive location, just a few steps from Duomo. The attention to details is amazing; best products are carefully chosen from breakfast pastries to bathroom toiletries. Personal design style and contemporary art create unique and extraordinary interior space, comfortable, homey and inviting. The staff are really excellent, very friendly and helpful, happy to share their tips for enjoying the city, its cafes, boutiques, exhibitions and art galleries.

It is indeed a place you feel good about and always want to come back.
