As a fan of Art Deco and also an owner of a Necchi sewing machine, it was intriguing to visit this home museum and to read about the family. The home is beautifully maintained and the families treasures are on show, almost just as they left them! The family closed up the house during the war and moved north to the lakes. Upon returning they renovated some of the rooms, but many original features remain including the amazing Art Deco staircase and the wonderful and varied ceilings. The house is now used for functions and so the entire house and the gardens are well maintained, and the garden is currently quite beautiful. The Necchi sisters lived to be 93 and 99 in this wonderful villa, how lucky.
