“Lovely Staff, Very Clean Hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 weeks ago

A well equipped hotel, free facilities to print boarding cards off and check email. Lovely large rooms with top spec bathroom and large balcony, Not the closest to Milan as i thought but never the less only a 5 min tops metro ride to the heart of Milano right on Duomo Plazza. (Costs about £1.40). The Staff at the hotel are exceptionally good at their jobs and very helpful. Friendly bar, reception, house keeping staff, made my stay a pleasure. I will definitely be booking another Ramada if they are anything close in experience as the Ramada Plaza Milano was.

Room Tip: I stayed in a double room and could not have been happier. (I'm sure the lovely staff would chan...

Stayed in the Ramada plaza from the 13th to the 17th of November and what a great hotel it is, situated 1 km from the local Turro train station up one street you can access the entire of Milan from it.

Firstly the rooms; apart form the position of the toilet being directly behind the door, there was absolutely nothing to complain about, the bed were made everyday with clean fresh towels provided. Also provided were bottles of shampoo body lotion and shower gel. A wonderful waterfall shower with changeable power attachment. the beds are huge, really huge almost like two doubles next too each other, there are five English channels although four are american, and there are films and premium channels you can purchase. There is a mini fridge with goodies inside at a charge and a very healthy amount of coat hangers in the spacious wardrobe. never used the safe

The breakfast is samey so be aware if your going for longer than five days. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and an assortment of cold items makes up the breakfast along with croissants and chocolate pastries. coffee, tea and hot chocolate also available. eating area is small but very nice, depending on who is serving you will either be spoken to or not but again nothing to complain about.

One note lift on the left hand side can jolt quite a bit between floors 3-4

The spa facilities are free for hotel guests, you don't need a robe and slippers, The spa is ok, not like a British Spa, the Jacuzzi is warmish and only a few places for the bubbles to rise although there is a nice little waterfall feature, the steam room doesn't really have a great deal of steam but is ok and the sauna is spot on and a very nice place to relax

All the staff are great and speak good English and are extremely helpful.

I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling for pleasure or business as Milan is a gorgeous city

Room Tip: All rooms are good

Modern rooms in average location out of town and an average breakfast buffet make this place less enticing.
Double check regular transfers provided into the city via mini bus as they tend to get amended or cancelled.
Service at reception varies, but some staff are happy to help at least.
No furniture on the balcony and terrible coffee provided by the machines during breakfast make this your typical business hotel and maybe not a perfect spot for couples.
Overall, you get what you pay for.

I stayed in this hotel only for one night and everything has been perfect! The position (in the North-East part of Milan) was perfect for my trip, the room was very clean, large and well equipped (modern furniture, large TV, etc). The personnel was very friendly and careful about everything, and also the breakfast was OK. Very good also the free parking in the court of the hotel, which for Milan is a very great benefit. I recommend this hotel especially for business purposes, but also for leasure it should be OK (there is also a large SPA, but I didn't test it).

We stayed 2 nights in a standard room, which was very spacious, bright n clean. The bathroom was spacious n well thought out - ample shelving n rails to put toiletries n towels. There was a balcony but no chairs/tables. Too bad for tat wasted space. We had a rental car n needed to stay somewhere with parking, outside of da ZTL, but still convenient to reach the city centre. This hotel was the solution for us. Parking is within the hotel compound. The nearest Metro is a 10 mins stroll through some quiet streets. From there it was a straight ride to the Duomo station. The hotel supposedly had a shuttle service to take guests to da nearest Metro but it was out of order for the duration we were there. Breakfast was a spread we really enjoyed. But time it nearer to 9 am, if u can, to avoid crowd.
We did have 1 unpleasant encounter with front desk. We wanted to check what the ZTL signs looked like in Milan n went to ask the receptionist. Unfortunately, we were met by a grumpy n rude lady behind the desk who wouldn't even let us finish our question, instead kept repeating that the hotel is not in da ZTL. Sensing our annoyance, another receptionist (I believe his name is Pradeep) jumped in n clarified the matter for us. Round of applause for him!
We would strongly recommend this hotel to someone driving to Milan - just beware of the ZTLs n da grumpy lady behind da front desk.

stayed in this hotel, as milan was the last leg in our whole trip in italy. room was impressive and relaxing (took the studio), did not take any meals in the hotel, rather brought back the food after browsing the city and activities, and there's restaurants across the street and also a supermarket, convenience and cheap definitely. metro station is nearby, 10minutes walk. 10euro by taxi from the train station

Rooms are quite spacious and very comfortable. The local area is quiet and we felt safe walking to/from hotel. When I arrived at Milan was the transport strike and I had to walk from Central Station to the hotel. Although the hotel offer a shuttle to Turro, due to maintenance problems it did not work at all. Frendly staff, good breakfast,
