“A nice friendly place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Stayed in this hotel for a week on business. The room sizes are huge by European standards with very big balconies. The rooms are very clean and functional. Breakfast was very good but the same everyday. Some variety would have been welcome for a long stay. Free internet is reasonably fast but somehow does not work too well in the lobby. Location is OK walking distance from Metro and a few minutes to the city center. Plenty of good restaurant around but you need to ask the local people. The hotel recommended restaurants are OK but there are better choices available.
I think they need to work on the training of the staff a little. The in room coffee making facility is well stocked but couple of times the housekeeping staff forgot to replenish the same and it is almost impossible to get them replenished after working hours. Apart from this everything else was great and we really enjoyed our stay here.
Otherwise staff is very friendly and helpful.

“Not your regular Ramada Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

When you see the name "Ramada Hotel" you would think just a regular OK place. NOT here in Milan. First, the hotel is more like a four stars hotel. The hotel is is very nice, clean, big room, comfortable bed, nice bathrooms and a huge balcony. Again this hotel is up to the standars of the BIG chains hotels such a Marriot, Hilton Westin to mentions a few. I was very pleased. The only inconvenience is in the middle of nowhere. Itis about 4 to 5 block to get to subway (which is not bad). Nice breakfast in the morning. Free internet. Friendly staff. And last but not least they offer a free shuttle ride to downtown area so that is is very nice. Overall a nice trendy hotel not just your regular Ramada Hotel.

“nice if you get a good deal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

I stayed in this hotel for 1 night while visiting Milan for business. The room was quite big and the bed comfortable. Toilet was big and amenities basic (no slippers offered). There are coffee making facilities. Internet is free, fast and stable. The balcony ovelooked a green park. The location is OK, in a reisdential area with very few people walking around after sunset and about 500m from Turro metro station. There is a discount super market next to the hotel. Breakfast didn't offer big variety but was just OK and the quality was good. I paid 90 Euros which is a fair price for this hotel.

“Concrete Jungle overlooking a rubbish collection site”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

You either hate it, or love it, either it's extremely modern or a 60's monstrosity in the overall look of the hotel. To my mind it looked like a dated block of sprawling flats, however my daughter thought it was quite trendy!

Fair sized bedroom, very clean and tidy, added benefit of Tea/coffee making facilities, balcony (no furniture) overlooking residential blocks of flats and the rubbish collection site. To my mind the hotel is located in rather an unusual position being in the heart of a dense residential area, there is a supermarked across the road, closed on sundays, so not the best of outlooks on the front and sides of the hotel, however at the back is a pleasant and very neat garden.

The bathroom and extremely clean with a bidet,( for those who feel the need) and a very good shower.

Breakfast was ample lots of choice with cereals, various breads, pastries, fruits of different kinds, a choice of beverages. However to an English palate the hot food was (each morning) a huge slabs of scrambled eggs, streaky bacon offered with vegetables, one morning green French beans and the next steamed Cauliflower!

There is a Spa and Brasserie, which was closed, but the restaurant looked inviting as did the Menu.

From the Duomo the hotel is 8 stops away at Turro, the metro stop is around 5 minutes walk rom the hotel, therefore this would not be my first choice of hotel when visiting Milan, overall a clean and tidy hotel, good facilities, very helpful and pleasant staff.............just the location that lets it down.

Room Tip: Back of hotel no sight or small of rubbish tip.

“A good hotel in an average location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

We stayed there during July 2012.
The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The staff was very professional and helpful.
The breakfast was very good.
The room had a balcony but we could not use it due to the smell coming from a large recycling facility in the next corner...
On Wednesday that we arrived, there was a fruit and vegetable market next to the hotel.
The metro is a 5 minute walk.
We used the parking. There was little help from the staff concerning this part. There seemed to be an underground parking but we didn't figure out how to use it and whether it belonged to the hotel or not. We parked inside the hotel premises but in an outdoor parking space.
Also the free wi-fi was not that clear... We had to ask how to use it the next day of our arrival, when they informed us that we needed a code to access it, which took about 10 minutes to obtain via reception...

Room Tip: We used the hotel's booking site and every question was answered promptly while they met every d...
